Reliable and still works great after 2 years.
Have been using it for over 2 years now and still working great.It helps us maintain our cats weight, and stopped her begging for food anytime we are in the kitchen.Very reliable, when we travel the cat watcher doesnât have to deal with food (which always led to over feeding ). We motion activated cameras, so can verify itâs working while we are away.Also the design of the bowl is nice – easy to remove and clean.Programming it took a little getting used to, but it is fairly intuitive

Ingenious device that gives you peace of mind!!!
I spent so much time looking for something like this!! As someone who travels a lot for work, Iâm always struggling to find a reliable person to come over to feed my cat with her wet food. All wet food feeders I had found so far used ice to keep the food, and it means it will be good for maybe a bit more than 12h. I was about to look for an engineer to design something that was like a âmini fridgeâ for wet food, until I found this device right when I was in a trip and the person who was supposed to feed my cat refused to enter the apartment because the cat was hissing inside. I have to say my cat was not comfortable with the device at first. She was scared of all noises coming from the feeder and was refusing to eat from it. It took me more than a week to get her used to it, and I had to be patient and slowly teach my cat to approach the feeder and eat from it. But once she got used to it, was a whole peace of mind!!! I had to move it to another location and it seems to have helped my cat to feel more comfortable. The device is so far very reliable, easy to set up the feeding schedule. the device wonât let you set up a feeding schedule that ends more than 72h after you first set it up which means 3 days this the maximum you can be away without having something coming over to feed your cat. But still, itâs a breeze!!! Some things to consider: The compartments are pretty big. As my cat does not eat much at once, there usually food remaining when the feeding time is over and the lid is closed. For me itâs good because in my recent trip, I was able to set up a new feeding schedule and my cat had a bit more food to wait for me to come home in the evening. It would be much better to have 5 smaller compartments and being able to feed the cat 5 days, but I cannot complain!! The device is sturdy, the app is pretty good and easy to set up the feeding schedule. It gives you the report of how many times you cat came to eat, and how long the cat took eating. There was a power outage while I was away but it did not disturb the feeding schedule.Bear in mind the device is pretty tall and wonât be suitable for kittens. My cat is 9lb and she can eat easily from the compartment (that is kinda deep), but it will be hard for smaller kitties.I can say Iâm VERY HAPPY so far with this device.

Reliable wet food feeder for your cats
We purchased this wet food autofeeder for days when we are gone all day in order to feed our cat. This is one of the only autofeeders on the market that operates without the use of ice packs, which we thought was very convenient. It basically works by being a mini refrigerator. It is pretty easy to set up and came in good condition despite being a refurbished item. That said, the adapter can get quite hot to the touch, so you definitely have to be careful. In addition, I have had an issue with the feeder dispensing the wrong (and empty) slot when I clicked feed now on the app. Otherwise, I have not had issues with the autofeeder when it is on a schedule.

Trained a 15-Year Old Cat To Use the Petlibro
My 15-year-old cat eats twice a day. We were planning a trip to Northern Ireland, and I wanted to get an automatic feeder to feed my cat one of the two times she eats so a cat sitter would only need to come once a day. I had two weeks to train her. Since the Petlibro holds three meals, I wanted my cat to get used to it, so I scheduled the feeder to open for both her feedings during the first week. I scheduled it for 5:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. I started the training with the 3:30 feeding. When the feeder opens, it makes a “dinging” sound. At first, she wanted nothing to do with it and was looking for me to put down her little silver dish with food in it. I opened her favorite treat (the Temptations Purree) and led her to the feeder. I then squeezed some of the treat in her food in the feeder, and she ate it. I needed to do this a few times at the beginning of the first week, but within a few days, when the feeder opened, I just walked over to it and pointed to it, and she would eat. By the second week, she understood that the “dinging” sound meant food. Also, during the second week, we returned to feeding her breakfast in her silver dish and only used the automatic feeder during the afternoon. This was going to be the schedule of the cat sitter, so we wanted her to get used to it. I’m happy to say that everything worked out perfectly! The cat sitter fed her in the morning, and The Petlibro fed her in the afternoon. When we returned, we continued using the feeder and set it for both morning and afternoon feedings. Now, she doesn’t wake us up in the morning to eat. She hears the “dinging” and feeds herself:)

Pretty great, and saves me a lot of headache – I feed my cat four times a day, and this takes care of the middle meals while I give my cat warm wet food for her first & last daily meal.Desired Improvements – give us an option to get a stainless steel feeding tray instead of plastic!!!My cat is sensitive to whisker fatigue, and I haven’t notice any issues there yet (she is a smaller cat, so maybe a big-head big-whisker cat will feel different). But that might be an irritation that builds up overtime so we’ll see – it’s been about 2 months of no issues though.LAST NOTE – my cat [obviously] did not like this tray at first and wouldn’t eat from it. That’s pretty expected. I tried to warm her up to it faster by placing a treat on this feeder twice a day (and accepted that there were gonna be some initial days of food waste). But now, she hears the chime go off, and she gets so excited and happy, and finishes her food within a few minutes of the feeder opening.so probably no worries if your cat spurns the new feeder at first.

Works wonderfully. Consistent, up to 4 meal times a day. Easy to program. I wouldnât bother setting up the voice, itâs very loud every time and cat responds to good noise. You canât delete sound and taking batteries out doesnât reset.For my cat, food storage lasts 3 weeks and cat canât get in. Running off batteries also great if no powerpointIâm using in Australia and works great. Power is a usb end so you just need to pickup a $5 usb power point, or just use your phone one.

This is an excellent auto feeder. It is easily assembled, easy to program, has battery back up but can be plugged in via USB charger adapter. It can be set for up to 4 feedings a day and the portion sizes are configurable- each portion is about 1 tbsp up to 4 tbsp per feeding. I thought the recording option was silly when I bought it but if you set it to call the cats when it drops food it acts like a personalized feeding alarm clock.The actual feeding bowl is stainless steel and can be just lifted out to wash. Highly recommend this if you’re looking for a feeder for 1-2 cats.

Pros:- It works- Various settings – quantity, amount of times/day, and times of day (not sure what else you would need- Fairly good instructions (could use some improvement), but with some figuring/trials was able to get it set up- recorded voice to call pet for food- Holds enough food for my two cats (combined weight of less then 25lbs) for well over 3 weeks- I PERSONALLY BELIEVE it could handle larger food then they recommend (it may even help it to stop getting caught on lip)- Manual feed button- Does have some parts that come off for easier cleaningCons- Food doesnât come all the way down the tunnel/shoot- Had to take out metal tray as food was getting stuck on lip – which made it backup even more then without tray- By taking out the tray it wonât be as easy to clean regularly- Volume of recorded voice can NOT be adjusted and is somewhat quiet (could also be a pro for smaller dwellings and when at home)- Sound quality isnât great but good enough to let them know (eventually they would figure out what it means as it doesnât really sound like you)- Instructions could use a bit more information for setting up, they are also missing/in wrong sequence for a step or two, but could be figured out with a little trial and error- When testing with manual feed button the portion isnât the same as when running the schedule so somewhat harder to figure out what size to enter for portion- Doesnât look like you can wash the shoot but could possibly wipe it outPersonal con- Would prefer it took AA batteries as opposed to the D (or C), as AA are what we always have on hand, however with the plug it works perfectly fine and will have to pick up the batteries for when we go away

Great looking product and easy to program, but our super greedy cat just knocks it over and the lid pops off and goes to town on the spilt food. Do not underestimate a cats ability to outsmart this product
