Very nice blanket
Well, i can vouch for its popularity with my cats, and I can vouch for its waterproof qualities.This blanket it the perfect size to cover the bottom of my queen size guest bed if turned so that the length is crosswise. Does not go all the way to the pillows, of course, but I use a scat mat to protect that area anyway.The first night it was on the bed several of the cats decided to try it out, and someone decided to make it their own by peeing on it. (Hasnât happened again. Just a territorial dispute over a new item). I can say that I immediately found out that the blanket is water proof as the bed was not even damp and had no odor.The blanket washed nicely and came out of the dryer just like new. Since it is waterproof, there can be an issue with the layers retaining water when you remove it from the washer. You may need to reposition it and let it drain or use an additional spin cycle. Mine took a little additional time in the dryer, considering itâs smaller size, but I dried it on the low setting. Came out looking just like new and without any stain.Itâs very soft and warm, and I like it was much as my cats do.Highly recommend.

Looks nice and gets the job done
I purchased this blanket after my one cat developed bladder crystals. He got medications for treatment and pain. He started peeing while he was sleeping. I wasnât sure how long heâd live at this point and didnât want to isolate him. So he slept with me. The blanket saved my regular blankets and bedding so many times. It never leaked through.Itâs very soft and held up really well. I think I washed it 1-2 daily for about 20 days. I got cream color because my cats are mostly light or white. Itâs the size of your average throw blanket. Iâd buy one queen sized if I could.Iâve recommended it everyone I know who have pets

My dog loves her fluffy blankets! And no matter which ones I get, she always seems to know which ones are hers and which ones are the families! Very nice soft fluffy throw! She loves them anytime, but she seeks them out more when she tries to hide from lightning! I tuck it in around her and I get the impression it’s like a swaddle to her. Washed multiple times, used as a tug of war toy, and lots of snuggling, it has not fallen apart! Very nice!

Itâs soft and waterproof but I wish the two layers were stitched together some. Itâs very slippery if sat on because the layers slide. Still, does what it shouldâprotect upholstery.

This is very light weight, but soft and apparently very comfortable. I had tried the quilted waterproof ones but the dog didn’t care for them and moved into the guest bedroom. The best coverlet is the one the dog will use. We are both happy with this one.Ok, it’s A week later. The blanket is now shedding almost as much as the dog. Little pieces of fuzz everywhere. Don’t think I want to put this in my washer. Will probably throw it away. This down grades the rating considerably. One star.

Soft, but not the best for my dogs
I got this to protect my new furniture after moving to a wooded area. I liked that there was a waterproof layer incase it was muddy or wet out. That being said, while it is protective and soft, the one layer of it, the shearling type side, is impossible to keep clean. My dogs come in with random debris sometimes, flakes of leaves, random crud that gets stuck in their hair or paws, or just from picking stuff up walking around the house and it all gets imbedded in that side. I have to manually pick each crumb out of it because the wash machine canât remove it. I wish instead of the shearling texture it was more of a fleece or something else that would be easier to clean, especially since thatâs the whole point of this blanket in the first place. I got two, so I can wash one and use the other, but I wonât get more. Iâll probably just find something else to use or just regular fleece blankets since itâs not like they are ever dripping wet walking around the house.
