Pilot G2 Gel pens are the best ball point pens available IMHO.
I keep several colors of Pilot G2 pens on my desk. Been using them for years. This set of 4 is fine point (0.7mm). I prefer the larger 1.0 mm points but ordered these by mistake. Not to worry .. I’ll use these in any case.

Best workaday pens on the market
Love these pens. I keep a handful of the blue, black and red ones on hand at all times – and in various sizes (05, 07 and 10). The ink flows smoothly and I rarely have one with a ball that creates ‘blobs’. The ink flows until the very last drop and I recycle the barrels. Gave one to my mom recently and she commented later on how much she liked how it writes.

The G2 is objectively the best pen in its price range. The lovely flowy ink makes my day a little more cheerful (except the black ink– those are good for Wednesday Addams kinds of days) and they dry quickly enough that it’s not likely to smear. (Note- this has not been researched with lefties, so there is a gap in my literature.)If you don’t love this pen. . . . we can still be friends, but just give all yours to me.
