Warning! You will receive 1 pen, not 12.
I placed 2 separate orders within 2 weeks and received 1 pen. I initiated a replacement and return of the first, was asked to take my 1 pen to a UPS store and drop it off for return while they claim they are sending me my first 12 pack replacement. My second order arrived today, 1 pen again, so I initiated a return and now have to be present when UPS comes Monday to pick up a single pen. To say I’m frustrated is an understatement. I hope the replacement pack has 12 pens but I won’t hold my breath. 2 orders 2 pens, $29 per order…. What a bargain ð

I am a teacher, and I love these pens. They usually write very well and they erase very cleanly, unless you’ve got some graphite writing in the vicinity – then avoid that, since this eraser is just for Pilot Frixion ink. I really love them for grading because I always get a thought going, and then I think of a better way to say something, so I am constantly erasing and modifying comments.I would recommend these pens to teachers and students, but I know a lot of people won’t buy them because they are so expensive. I’ve had one pen from the box I ordered that won’t write, and another one I used to open a box, and some of the tape jammed up the ball in the pen. If you order these pens, use them to write with, not as a multi-use tool like I sometimes do, as I think the ink seems to have a harder time flowing around obstructions in ball end. Even with these minor issues, this is the best erasable pen I’ve ever worked with!

I opened the envelope and found only one pen. Yes, just a single one. I don’t even think I could even buy that anywhere. More humorous than frustrating at this point, and not even worth returning anymore.

Far superior to its competitor (Papermate) in that it has an eraser that works without smudging and no cap to keep falling off! However, the gel dries up rather soon.
