What a great deal!
6 of these for 25 is a great deal. They’re very full plants and pretty sturdy. Some little pieces came off but that’s normal for this type of fake plant. Yes there is a plastic smell to off gas but just soak in hot water and vinegar as someone else suggested. They filled out several setups very well. No idea if the suction cups work. I use wire and fix then to the screen tops.

Good Buy
People said this product smelled unbearable when they got it, and while they did have a strong plastic-y smell at first, I wouldn’t say it was THAT bad. Maybe they changed the manufacturing process or something.I soaked these in the sink with some dish soap and vinegar overnight, drained the water, then soaked again. The smell was almost entirely gone after that.I’ve had them installed in my snakes’ enclosures for over a month now – I can’t smell them at all, and my nose is fairly sensitive. All four snakes roam around in the “plants” and I haven’t noticed any difference in activity since I’ve added them, so I’d say they don’t mind it either. The suction cups won’t hold up against the weight of a ball python, but if they’re not climbing all over it they should stay put. I spray a little water on the suction cups before adhering them to the glass wall and that seems to do the trick.

Smelled REALLY strong
They are neat plants for a decent price. Decently big and a decent looking plastic plant for tank décor I suppose. Only thing is that one of the two plants I got STUNK. Like a really strong smell of plastic and oil. When washing don’t use really hot water and don’t pull the leaves too hard or some of them might come off, but you need to put a bit of accidental effort into it to make any leaves come off, but they’re decent for a plastic plant. Pretty much what you expect.I would of given it a 3 star rating just for that worrying smell but it was only one of them and maybe that weird smell was just a random outlier and no one else would have the same issue.

Turtles Love Them
I bought these to suction onto my Fluval Aqua Clear hang on filter in my 125+ gal to make the waterfall sound like more of a trickle and less of a hard fall in my turtle tank. While my RES do tend to rip off a few leaves or a branch here and there (because that is just the nature of RES), these have held up very well so far in the past year. In fact, I’m still on the first one, haven’t had to utilize the second yet because the first has held up so well. It is a luscious, vibrant addition to the tank, and gives the turtles a great little gripping area if they want the water to trickle down their face like a shower, which I see them do frequently. Because of how I have the tank situated, it also aids them in climbing to their basking area. It has been incredibly effective at lowering the noise levels in the tank, and has probably been one of the most cost effective and worthy investments I have made for the tank in a long time.

Good quality!
I used these in my snake’s enclosure (right side of tank), he loves hanging out in them. They’re good enough quality for him to not break them, which says a lot compared to other brands. They do have a chemical smell when new, I soaked them for 24 hours then changed the water and soaked for another 24 hours (warm soapy water) and it got rid of all smell. They’re full and thick, and they don’t break. I definitely recommend.

Frank Approves
I bought these for my corn snake, Frank, and he loves them. He’s still small so he spends most of his time tangled up in them. They are very long so I had to trim them to fit in his tank. But I used the extra pieces to twine into his vines and other things. Very easy to clean and very sturdy. They don’t look ridiculously fake either. The only down side is the suctions that come with them wear out pretty fast. I’ve had them maybe 4 months and its not uncommon for the ferns to be laying down in the bottom of his tank every now and then. I just keep sticking them back up.

Stink so bad and missing pieces
The product was wrapped tightly in thick products and when I opened it the smell was awful. The best way I can describe it is kind of like fog machine fluid. I tried to boil it, soak it in dish soap, put it in vinegar and water, but it wonât come off. On top of that, I noticed a piece of rusty metal sticking out of one of the bendable pieces. I also didnât get any suction cups despite it being in the product name and description so you donât get what you pay for in this case. I wonât be using for my animals unfortunately because of the bad smell.

Got this fake plant for my blue tongue lizardâs tank, and it makes the setup look a lot nicer. Itâs sturdy and adds some greenery to the spaceâmakes the tank feel a bit more lively, even if Reggie doesnât really notice! Perfect low-maintenance decoration.

It’s great climbing/hiding for my crested gecko, there’s small plastic hooks on the end of the branches that help with hanging the plant but are harmless
