Smells strongly of plastic at first
It smells so strongly of plastic. I put it in my snakes tank and opened it the next day and thatâs all I could smell in there, I felt so bad for her. Iâve waited a few extra days with her out of the tank to see if it would lose the smell, but so far it hasnât. I may just be being too picky, but that doesnât seem like a safe environment for a reptile.** So I had to edit this review because after leaving this item out to air for a few weeks I noticed that it stops smelling like plastic and so I decided to give it a second try. The smell has stayed gone, and my snake absolutely adores it! Itâs got a great little spot underneath for her to hide and thereâs a little hole she can stick her head out of which is absolutely adorable. You may have to wait for a while for the smell to go away but itâs a fantastic item once it does.

Nice
This is a great item but it is too small for my adult corn snake. So just a warning. It has holes on the side that are too small for my 6 year old snake. I just pulled him back out and will find something larger.

Looks cheap
I know I couldnât expect much but the entire thing looks cheap and the dish isnât deep enough for my crested gecko to lay in.

Nice addition to leopard gecko habitat
We bought this for our leopard gecko’s habitat. There’s a cave underneath with a couple of entrances and though we doubted there was enough room for him to actually get under there, he loves it! Four stars just because it really doesn’t hold a lot of water and there was a big, visible glue glob to hold one of the trees on. We haven’t had any problems with leaking so far. Recommended.

Great fit for the hermit crabs tank.
Great fit for the hermit crabs tank. Good for climbing and for the salt water pool they like. Adds cool look also.

Cracked after less than a week
After noticing the water level inexplicably going down over time, I shined a flashlight at the bottom of the bowl and found that the casting quality is complete garbage. Miniscule holes all over the place and spots so transparent you could almost see right through them. I threw it in the trash and bought a better one.

Nice water basin
My hognose snake loves this. It is hollow and raised underneath, and he can incorporate it into his tunnel system. It is tricky to clean but a good bristle brush will do the trick. He is almost 12 inches long for an idea of the size.
