Even cuter in person than in the pic
I ordered this for a gecko cage, partly for decoration and partly to help keep the humidity high. It is adorable up close but I wasn’t expecting there to be two sizable holes in the base, big enough to let a small or baby gecko get underneath and hide. I had my hubby sand down the edges of the holes on the inside because there were a few sharp edges, so now it is safer, but I’m still going to put this into a larger geckos cage. It is heavy and sturdy enough that a gecko won’t be able to tip it over, and not deep enough for even a baby to drown itself in. So overall I would recommend this item for gecko keepers, just make sure to check the inside edges of the holes in the base, and sand down if needed.

Great buy.
People keep writing that this is leaking… I think they are getting the leaking confused with evaporating. It isn’t very deep and it will evaporate about 1/3 of the water or more in one day and I have it in a exoterrium tall rainforest build with about 2 inches of coconut shrub between the pool and the heater placed on the bottom of the glass. I guess if you put this under or close to a spot light it could melt it enough to where it would leak… but seeing this is made out of plastic not resistant to high heat, not sure why you would buy it for that purpose.

Cute, dual use bowl
Pros: I like the natural looking design. It is small but not so small as not to be useful. I like that it has a hiding place for tiny creatures under the bowl area so it gives the creatures more useful space. I use it for African Dwarf Frogs.Con: Just one… It has some sharp edges that needed to be sanded down before using.

Reptile bowl that looks good and doubles as a hide
Good decorative water bowl for small reptiles that’s easy to clean and looks good in their terrarium.. also has holes on the sides of the bowl that act as a hide. Great item for the price.

Water Bowl? Not Really
I got this to add to my little lizards terrarium for him to use as a water bowl or even maybe just for him to take a dip. However, there’s either a tiny leak in this “bowl” or my lizard is drinking too much water. I’m leaning towards the hole. It subtly drains from the sides over time. Attempting to find a seal the hole has gone unsuccessful. Now it just sits in the tank dry and bare. Love the look of the “bowl” but disappointed in the leaking. I think next time I’ll just stick with a regular bowl.

Water will leak out of the bowl.
I read the other reviews about this very thing and thought it had to be evaporation. After all, a water dish has just one job right? The bowl design looks great and it’s the perfect size for my tree frogs, but water won’t stay in the dish more than 10 minutes. The bowl is level; I can sit there and slowly watch the water drain out.To the potential buyer – I think there are better options out there.

Great quality
Great size and very realistic other than the palm trees but I will be alright. I went to Petco and Petsmart but this item in my opinion looked the best and was a good size for my 18Ã18Ã24 reptile terrarium (crescent gecko).

So cute
Love this but be aware there is a hole on the side where your pet can hide. I didnât know and was searching my house for 2 days looking for my lizard LOL.

If I could give this negative stars I would. They donât include an imagine in the product overview of the holes on the sides of the dish, which they should. That being said I placed the order and set this up in my babyâs enclosure only to find that he had become trapped trying to pass through the hole and resulted in an emergency vet trip. The plastic is sharp and cut him as well, thereâs next to no way to cut it if you do not have proper tools on hand should it happen to you. I seriously donât recommend. I would attach photos but they are hard to look at given the severity of his wound.
