Incredible for knots and matts
Amazing brush! My Shih Tzu has an abundance of long, thick, cotteny hair and developed knots all over his body (he got wet and I let him dry without combing him out first, which turned into knots and matts). I used this along with the Biosilk detangling rinse out conditioner and it took two hours but, this comb got EVERY knot out. I thought I was going to have to shave him down. This comb has finer teeth and works better than my standard comb on getting knots out. Works on dry and wet fur.

Really works.
I have a poodle with tight curly fur. This rake is a wonderful tool and I’m so happy that I bought it. It loosens up the curls so you can get out any mats. It’s comfortable to hold and my puppy just lays on my lap and it doesn’t seem to bother her at all. Worth every penny.

Fantastic for dogs with curly hair!
Our dog is a lagotto and has super curly hair. He loves swimming so he would get a lot of mats around his ears. This definitely got the mats out. I was amazed out how well it worked. We had no idea our groomer uses the same comb!

Great but does get dull
This works very well for my miniature schnauzer in winter when her coat is long. It gets the mats out much easier than any other brush and it seems to be less painful for her. I used one for about 2.5 years. The only complaint is it does seem to get duller over time and use and there isn’t really a way to sharpen the edges. It is worth buying a new one though.

Amazing brush
This de-matter is AMAZING. I have a pomchi puppy whose fur is getting matted as he loses his straight baby fur and his new fur comes in a little curly. I had bought a slicker brush but it is super sharp and he avoids it at all costs. I came across this one day as a lightning deal and thought I’d give it a try based on the reviews. No lies told in the reviews, this brush works! At first my pup was kiddish but soon he relaxed and just allowed me to brush him. It cuts through the mats and combs out loose hair. He coat looks healthier and it’s softer. Get one!

Works Wonders! âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸
My Mini Bernedoodle was embarrassingly matted and this brush saved me and her fur ! I highly recommend for any long haired dogs & double coats. Worked wonders. She tolerated it while the brush cut through the mattâs. The thumb grip feels very comfortable.

Great value, ease of use
Highly recommend. Easy to hold, size is comfortable for small dog. Minimal hair removal while removing tangles or mats. Great value. I have tried many products and this is the first that really worked.

Good for minor mats with regular grooming, not great for tough matting
For context I have a 50lb goldendoodle that is 75% poodle. Her hair is very curly like a poodles. I brush her out regularly because I like to keep her coat long. This requires using a slicker to line brush and metal comb to verify no tangles. If there are any tangles, a dematting tool like this is effective at breaking thru.My complaints with this tool, is that the teeth are not on very tight. They shift around and it results in a jagged alignment of the teeth rather than the nice smooth side. This is generally not great for a dematting tool, because they tend to be very sharp on the serrated side (for getting thru the mats). However, on this tool, the serrated side is a VERY dull blade. I am not sure such a dull blade will be that great for getting out tough mats. It’s fine for me and my dog, because I brush her out regularly and she never has tough mats to deal with. Typically I only see small mats that form in the problematic areas and this comb is able to get those out effectively. So TLDR – this is a decent de matting comb for small mats and good if you’re already regularly grooming the dog. Also, the dull blade makes risk of accidentally cutting your dog minimal to none. BUT, if you have a tightly matted dog due to neglect and expect this tool to be great for those, I think you’d be disappointed.

Realmente es el primer cepillo que nos ha ayudado con las rastas que se le forman a nuestra perrita, es seguro, fácil de usar y realmente las desenreda sin lastimarlos, 100% recomendado

This dematting comb has been a lifesaver for my long-haired pet. It easily removes tangles and mats without pulling too hard or causing discomfort. The ergonomic handle is comfortable to hold, making grooming sessions much easier for both me and my pet. Itâs perfect for keeping their coat looking smooth and healthy.Pros:Effectively removes tangles and mats with minimal discomfort for your pet.Comfortable, ergonomic handle makes grooming easier and less tiring.Con:The blades may need occasional sharpening to stay effective on thicker mats.Tip:Start gently at the edges of mats and work your way in to avoid pulling on your petâs fur too much, especially if theyâre not used to grooming.

I have 2 cavapoos and 1 of them has straight up poodle fur which gets matted easily and I end up having to shave out the matts. The other ones fur is a mix but it works just as well and is amazing for his tail too which usually he hates having brushed. I figured I would give this a go and I’m definitely not disappointed. It was really easy to break up the matts and pain-free for my pups too. The design is great with the thumb hold it makes it a lot more comfortable to use and because the ends of the brush are rounded i dont worry about it accidentally hurting my boys. I even ended up buying 1 for my mum as she also has 2 cavapoos and she said its amazing the difference she sees from just using a regular brush to this. I do recommend getting a good brush as well though, because while this breaks the matts and knots up, its a lot easier to get rid of the residue by using a brush after breaking them up rather than doing it by hand. Without a doubt a well deserved 5 star.

We have an Australian labradoodle and this is by far the best tool for dealing with any mattes he might get. I almost wish it was sharper, but it still does a great job. And pup doesnât mind it as much as other brushes weâve tried.
