Works perfect for my Amazon
I have recently opened up my home to an Amazon parrot, his owner passed away about six months ago and he has moved in and very quickly become part of the family. I wanted to pick up a smaller cage that I could use to take him to the vet, and something that he could safely travel in when we go in the RV or in the car. I looked online and found that in general, bird cages are REALLY expensive, but especially the smaller travel cages. I definitely wanted something that could essentially take an impact since we plan to travel with him and I didn’t want a flimsy cage in a vehicle. I decided to order this one, which ended up being under 100 bucks including shipping. It came within just a few days and I put it together pretty easily. This cage is VERY sturdy. I did see some mention online about the door latch being crooked, but this was not the case with mine. The cage is very nice. The latch is heavy duty and not something the parrot can manipulate to open. The food dishes are sturdy and they look easy to clean, much similar to the dishes he has now. I thought it was odd that the tray at the bottom is under the grate, but if you think about travel, it actually makes sense because the grate across the bottom gives him something to hang onto when in motion (if he doesn’t want to be on the perch). The only thing I will be replacing is the perch, it isn’t quite long enough and slides around if you try to put it in between the water dishes, but that is really no big deal because I would probably have changed the perch anyway. It is a bit on the heavy side, but as I mentioned, I wanted something heavy duty. It is big enough that the bird doesn’t feel closed in, but small enough to fit on the car seat or in the RV in between the seats, and the perch on top is a nice feature. It was definitely worth the money, and when you compare it to other cages out there, it was much nicer. I will be purchasing a few other items from this seller. I’m very happy with this cage.

Great Product, Great Price
So impressed with this cage. Sturdy and very easy to assemble. Perfect size for our Ducorps Cockatoo and she loves it. This is such a great value for the price. Nice to look at. Only draw backs are the perch on top is high(but she still gets herself up there), the bottom tray doesn’t have a lock to keep it in, and the perch it comes with was too loose to use. All that being said. We are thrilled with this purchase. I would buy it again in a heartbeat.

Itâll do itâs job!
I purchased this about a week ago, I got the bigger one, itâs definitely big enough for amazons and African Grays! I would not get it if you have a bigger bird! I wanted it for when I go away for a couple days I can bring my girl with me. I will say it will do itâs job and itâs a pretty nice carrier! But there are cons to this..1: the latch on the door is crooked2: the metal piece that goes in front of the floor of the cage did not have a long enough screw.3: the perch that it comes with is super loose and does not sit still, but it is fixable if you just replace it.4: the top perch on top of the cage where you carry it is also loose, it moves when you pick it up, I believe the screws needed to be longerâ¦5: IT IS HEAVY! Not something you want to be lugging around! But thatâs okay that wasnât personally my intended purpose.I will say itâs nice, itâs a beautiful carrier, I will say, if I knew what all the cons were before purchasing, I probably wouldnât have bought it..Also if you buy a perch donât do what I did and buy one without a metal disc and washer, I bought one with a wood back and since the metal is flimsy the perch does not stay stillâ¦I hope this helps! Traveling Cage has to Travel
We took our cockatoo cross country Venture to Philadelphia. Very impressive, cleaning try, along with easy water and food bowls, usage, but the ability to secure with seat belt is such a relief, both for our bird and our mind! Great product,OLIVER approved

Great product, but didn’t receive everything
The product overall is of good quality. The top of the cage didn’t quite fit, but had to get a hammer out to pound in the 4th peg to secure the top of the cage. The disappointed thing, but it is advertised, is the seed catcher. I did not receive it. I requested a replacement cage for this reason, and again, did not receive a seed catcher with replacement cage. Bit of a let down since it is advertised on the site as an offering with this product.

Too small for our eclectus, he hardly fits inside. Both perches are very thin for large parrots (would be perfect for budgies or cockatiels) and are made of cheap wood that has splits and is unsafe to use. Same with metal bowls – tiny to suit small birds.
