Highly recommended for baby squirrels, and nighttime biking visibility!
I fill this with soft cotton nesting material, and my baby squirrel burrows right into it. Great size for her, and ensures a safe and comfortable ride even when the roads are bumpy when I bike. She actually likes sleeping in this, too, you can just keep the shell open (backpack unzipped) and this can be a regular sleeping place for a baby squirrel. No need for a separate nesting box. The bottle holder on the side looks smaller than it actually is, it holds my Hydro flaskjust fine as I bike, too.As for the nighttime biking visibility: you can put LEDs in it (e.g. FlowToy) and be significantly more eye-catching to drivers behind you than if you had a rear light and/or ugly reflective vest. Even after I finish rehabbing my baby squirrel, Iâm going to continue wearing this during evening bike rides just because itâs so useful. Great purchase!

I love it, it seems to be working perfectly I did add a pad to the bottom because it was hard and needed cushioning for my pet. I got this when my cat was 7 weeks old and at 4 months old it’s beginning to get a little small for her but it has been wonderful so far and I think I’ll probably get another month or two out of it before she’s too big. I had initially given five stars but I’m taking it down to four because it doesn’t say it would only fit a kitten and not a cat. It has been a great product though just be sure you peel the sticker off so that you can see very well into the bagpack. People love this backpack so much and follow me around asking if they can take pictures of the kitty. I think it’s best to start with a kitten if you plan on carrying them around. It would be great if someone made a front pack that was comfortable I tried to wear it backwards but it hurt my back.
