Perfect for bearded dragon
Even though my bearded dragon is small right now, I am ready to take him on a trip when needed in this nice carrier. I like the materials that it is made of, and it has mesh on the sides and holes on the plastic for air. It is comfortable to wear, and there is even a leash for the bearded dragon in the package. Iâm sure I wonât have any problems taking my pet out.

Needs a rigid bottom
This backpack was almost a good thing. I will start with saying that the quality isnât great. Itâs acceptable. I wouldnât even be so harsh on the quality if it wasnât for the fail at the bottom. There is no hard bottom so when the backpack is on , it collapses! There is a âmatâ that isnât thick or rigid enough to keep the bottom supported and open. The ONLY way I would recommend this backpack would be to make your own supportive base that is rigid enough to keep the bag propped out. You have to have a little shelf and this doesnât have it. Why even make it?

This is a cool concept – but not literally. Quite the opposite, which would be ok for a bearded dragon in most cases. Unfortunately, there are a few things that made me a bit less excited about this setup. First, the air holes are literally metal rings. No screen or anything like that. Three are placed at the bottom portion of the backpack. This presents a couple of problems. If your bearded dragon is younger, it can get out of there. More importantly, someone (like a kid at a reptile show, etc.) could put their fingers in it. I’ll let the reader decide how relevant that is, but think through the scenarios, especially if your beardie has a knack for thinking anything wiggly might be food. Second, this IS a backpack 100% other than the plastic dome on the outside. The rest of this is cloth just like inside a regular backpack. This means that it is both, as durable (not really) as a cloth would be with a clawed lizard and will likely get some damage over time (which a decent sized beardie, the plastic will probably also get plenty of scratch lines throughout), and that if this gets dirty from your pet – about as cleanable as a fabric cloth. As far as I could tell, the plastic portion is not removeable, so washing this thing will not be as simple as just throwing it into a machine. And handwashing it will be a balancing act between trying to clean inside while not trying to scratch the plastic all up (it will be unzipped to clean inside and therefore will be on the ground while you clean.) Surprisingly, there is no tint on this backpack at all. I personally will take some static-cling tint and apply it just to the top half of the plastic if it is a hot day. Plastic can quickly amplify the sun, but in most places, I think you’d be ok anyway since they DID get a great amount of air flow throughout the backpack.The extra accessories are cool in that a collapsable water dish is handy. The wings are about the same as others you see for sale. The backpack straps are secure enough that I would not fear my animal snapping off. Overall, if you are just using this to transport your subadult beardie somewhere, you should be just fine. I just don’t know that I would take it with you specifically to have it in there all day to show off. The great ventilation is only as good as the weather/temperature where you are. So keep that in mind on days that aren’t going to be comfortable for your lizard.If they put some sort of mesh on the air holes (or even gave the ability to cover a couple up for temperature control), added even a cheap layer of any of the materials that are used as substrate substitutes (Such as the astro turf, or even just a sheet of rubber) to cover the parts that are cloth, this could be a really good item. Especially if your beardie was going with you on a long trip such as moving, or a vacation. The way it is right now, I think it really is just a decent method of transporting it and taking it out and holding it as soon as you reach your destination.

For the cat
We got this for the cat. She fits in it pretty well and it has decent air holes we put a small blanket folded up on the bottom for some additional support. I would not use this for too long on a hot day with that big plastic window but it’s great for cooler or overcast days.

Wonderful backpack and dragon harness with wings!
Puff the bearded dragon is going to look amazing wearing this winged harness with leash! I hope he likes his travel backpack carrier with the clear bubble to see where we are. Puff goes with me just about everywhere and this will help me keep him secure and free from harm.
