Works well for parakeets
Plenty of room for parakeets. They will chew the perch off but it can be replaced with something more sturdy if you would like.

I bought this nest box for my lovebirds, So far its been very sturdy. The only issue I have with it is that the stand in the front was missing so thats why I took a star off.

Too small for lovebirds
Ok itâs great nest box but small for lovebirds, I bought it for my lovebirds and I feel so bad for them because itâs the smallest box I ever bought, my tow previous nest boxes are bigger way bigger and if you think of tow adults who is going to have at least 4 mine have 5 and all hatches, itâll get really crowded once there just few weeks old, this size box is not for anything the size of a lovebirds, other then that itâs fine, but damn.. they couldâve made it little bigger and sold more boxes!

So i got one and it seem pretty sturdy but it did NOT come with the stick to put in the hole and then the hole wasnât even drilled completely through

This is a wonderful nest. Light, yet sturdy. The entrance looks small, but my two Rosellas dove in with ease. I bought some nesting material as well and am anxiously waiting for an egg (or 5) – fingers crossed 🙂 Buy it and your birds will love it. Mine did for sure.
