Great ceramic hooded crock!
My Goffin’s cockatoo had developed a habit of flinging his food EVERYWHERE – lots of wasted food, and a daily mess to sweep up. This crock is the perfect solution – he is eating all of his food, and is no longer flinging.In addition to the hole in the back of the crock (and the included bracket, the upper part of this is larger, with a lip – so that it can be used with a ring-type food cup holder (which is what I do – it’s MUCH easier to remove for cleaning and re-filling).

Well made – but I want to pick my color!!
You know iâve had a lot of these over the years. Theyâre very well-made and work perfectly. I always remove the included hardware for attaching it to the cage and instead insert these into the wire circles that normally would hold the stainless steel bowls. They work well that way and theyâre easier to remove and clean and put more food in. my big problem with this is that we canât choose which color we get. I donât understand if this day and age why we canât pick our colors. I have a beautiful black cage with colors and this stupid white feeder now. But other than that, these are stupendous.

It does what is supposed to do
Got 2 10oz crocks for 2 cockatiels. The small coulded been fine. The screws in the back are extremely inconvenient. Luckily I ordered 2 stainless steel cups and ended up using the rims for this, which worked perfect. Otherwise the product works great. Good quality and it holds the debris. They where scared at first but got used to it in a couple of days.

Be sure and notice that it says colors vary. I didn’t see this so I expected it be as pictured. It was not. Mine is white. I have a black cage. I was very disappointed.

Keeps my conure from flinging all of his food out.
Little hard to fill up, but it serves it’s purpose of keeping the food in the bowl. Rin *loves* to fling his food out of bowls, this keeps it where it should be. No longer coming home to a completely empty bowl.Very good purchase. Just wish there was an option that sat in a ring to make it easier to fill/get out to clean.
