Product broke within 2 days. I bought 2 and I wish I never did. Both items ended up in the trash.
When I bought 2 of these I figured it would be perfect for my birds. One was giving to a medium size bird and the other to a larger bird. Neither bird chewed on it. They would just sit on them. Both items broke in the center. One end slid off of the rod that held it and the other just started to fall apart. I could maybe understand if the bird chewed on it but there were no markings at all on it just a straight crack. I wish I took a picture before they went in the trash. Very poor quality.

Great Perch!
This is the second one we have bought. Our birds wore the other one down. They loved it. Just wished we could have got a white one again but they sent blue. Either way itâs great perch!

Good, but Short and Sometimes Soft.
I moved within the past year, and my usual bird toy, food, and perch supplier does not have an online presence. In so, I have been trying to find accessories for a very picky Congo African Grey. I ordered two of these. They arrived, both white, and while they seem to be doing their job beak and toe nail wise, they are much shorter than I and my feathered child prefer. I also have the issue of not being able to get them wet for a long period of time. My bird is a frequent bather, and I also tend to wash his cage down regularly (no soap, just water and a rag to keep things safe for him). These seem to retain a bit of water and soften when wet. They do dry out and harden up after a while, and seem to work fine for my bird, but when they are wet and he gives them a rub, they tend to wear.

I’m not very good at judging length and size, so I was a little worried, but this is perfect for the African grey I bought it for. He doesn’t really have anything to buff his beak against, even though he’s always trying to find something, so this is wonderful – it’s smooth enough that it doesn’t bother him to stand on, it’s nice and thick and will last him a while, and it has calcium in it, which saves me from needing to take up more cage space with anything like a cuttlebone. (Charlie really doesn’t like clutter in his cage.) And it supports his weight just fine. Here’s hoping he enjoys it! He’s a picky old man.

These are fantastic! My two cockatiels love sitting on this and chewing the end of it. I bought the medium size for my cockatiels. (which are a smaller sized bird from Australia that some might confuse with the larger cockatoo.)This is a quality, attractive perch. Can be used virtually anywhere in the cage and screws down snug. You need 3 types of perches for your birds, and you want to pitch the thin dowel type perches with sand paper wraps and use a natural branch type perch, a natural ground seashell perch such as this, to provide calcium as they chew & to file claws and beaks, and a soft rope type perch for a soft place to rest their feet. It breaks apart easily
I have ordered two because the first one arrived broken in half. The second arrived in one piece but within two months it also broke in half in use. My parrot wasnât abusing it.
