Fix the squeak with coconut oil
Mr Pinkman loves his wheel! Color varies, I ended up with a really cool orange color. It was VERY squeaky, so I greased it with coconut oil and now it’s completely silent. Only problem is my mouse loves the oil, so I may have to reapply fairly often LOL.

Solid little exercise wheel
This is a basic, but sturdy, metal exercise wheel for small rodents such as mice. It would be much too small for rats or even some larger hamsters. The wheel is plastic coated so the animals shouldnât have any discomfort in their paws. The one I was sent is free spinning without any drag or friction. If you get one that does not spin freely, you can easily make adjustments to the supporting arm brackets by bending them outward until the wheel spins. Mine did make a squeaking noise when it would spin, but that issue was resolved by applying a few drops of vegetable oil on the axis points. I have caught a few common juvenile house mice in my garage and detaining them until I capture the rest of the family, at which point I will relocate them all to a field, away from the city. I wanted them to be comfortable and stress free until I am able to do so. They seem to enjoy their temporary accommodations and facilities, however, I noticed one trading cigarettes for some peanut contraband. I will add some tiny weight racks and a commissary in hopes of eliminating further criminal activity.

Small but worth it.
It’s great for a few small mice. In a small cage. Very study and well made.

Great product and good price.
I got these for my pet mice. They love them!! They’re quiet. And affordable. Well worth what i paid. I just ordered two more for some baby dwarf hamsters that are ready to leave mum and dad and go into a house of their own.

An excellent mouse wheel with very little maintenance
This is a well-built mouse wheel that will last for a long time. Out of the box you’ll need to lightly stretch apart the arms that hold the wheel so tension isn’t causing the wheel to slow down. When the wheel freely drifts after spinning it is when you’ve got it set right. if it’s too wide, it will be wonky. It is inevitable that all metal wheels squeak. To fix this, you’ll need a Q-tip to apply a very light coat of cooking oil (olive, sunflower, grape seed, etc.) to the point where the wheel contacts the arms. Just a tiny bit goes a long way. Do NOT use toxic chemicals (WD-40, gun oil, etc.) for health reasons. The mouse probably will not eat the oil but you’ll have to apply a tiny amount when the squeaking bothers you. This wheel will last for generation upon generation of micro quadrupeds. Enjoy!

Stiff wheel?
Love the price, seems sturdy but the wheel seems stiff and extremely difficult to move, therefore my hamster doesn’t even care to use it.

Happy Mice Go Round and Round
Bought one for my daughter’s two mice. Then had to buy another as the mice just loved the wheel and as they grew one was not enough. The wheels seem safe–I’ve watched the mice jump on and off, ride upside down, etc. and no injuries at this time. The wheels are fairly quiet–need a little lubrication now and then but nothing major. Very happy with wheels. Note–we have an aquarium so just placed them on the ground as opposed to trying to hang them.

It hangs your furry little pets
My pet rat was able to hang himself on this wheel.
