I have recently rescued two kittens, a brother and a sister the little girl chutney is much smaller than her brother her brother outgrew his kitten, harness as it was getting quite snug, so I wanted to size up with something comfortable. That would also keep them safe on their leash, the small was a little bit big as he is a four month old kitten neck closer to 9 inches girth closer to 13 his sister was about an 8 inch neck and about a 12 inch girth. The small size is a little bit too big for the boy, but with twisting the straps after tightening him to the tightest sitting, it fits quite well for his sister. I had to twist both the neck and the girth around the waist as well as tighten it if you twist the straps around a few times and flip them, it will make the harness tighter until they are larger comes with a matching leash which is great quality, and the pink one came with a cute little collar and bell attached to it, that I could adjust her tiny little neck Upside is they will grow into these as they get older, and you don’t have to purchase additional harnesses!

The Leash Works, but Not On My Kitty!
My indoor kitty is 3 years old. I bought this so I could take her out in the yard. Hahahaha! She had a different plan, and bucked like a horse when I put it on her. It really freaked her out, but I had just got her, and she was already scared a bit.I ended up, months later, putting just the harness on her for a couple of minutes, at a time. Each time I extended how long she wore the halter. Now I can put the leash on, but she will only walk inside the house. The minute I try to take her outside with, she becomes that bucking bronco, again.

Mixed feelings
I have mixed feelings about these harnesses. I have actually purchased (these were not supplied to me free of charge for review) 5 of these in total since I have 7 pups that are a size who can wear these (one is too small to wear them and one needs a coat not a harness in December) both in the red and green and though I absolutely love the look of them, there are some things that concern me. For starters I have furry dogs, Pomeranians mostly and these are very hard to get them on and velcroed with their massive coats, something I should have considered. But it’s once I get them on that I have noticed an issue and that’s in the stiffness of the neck portion. My dogs just look uncomfortable with that much fabric and very stiff velcro up under their chins. The other issue is the noise of the velcro when adjusting them or taking them off, my 2 female poms hate the noise and want to buck out of the harness so if you have a squeamish dog please consider that! Also, make sure you press that belly velcro to make it secure, I put the dogs in their harnesses and usually turn around to find that 1 or 2 have their harness flopping open by the time I am done.Size wise, these do run small. All of my dogs that wear these are in the 6 to 10 lb range, with chest measurements from 13 to 16.5 inches and the pups with the 16.5 inch chests JUST fit in this size large harness, if my dogs were any bigger they would not be able to wear them. The neck portion fits all my pups and they have necks that range from 11 to 13 inches BUT the smaller you need to make this at the neckline the more problems you’ll have because the velcro is so thick and stiff and then when you clip over that with the short strap it can make it bunch uncomfortably.I’m not sure I would ever buy this style again but these are very cute and well made and the matching leashes are very nice and make this a good value.

Mi gato nunca se deja poner nada, pero esta vez aceptó el arnés y pudimos caminar sin mayor dificultad, no se le ve incómodo y es una ventaja la malla porque donde vivo hace muchísimo calor.
