Spring is in the air!
Spring is here. It’s time to worm. This product is perfect for the start of Spring and late summer. Affordable, effective, goes in easily as gel form. You don’t loose gel as you would with paste since it’s sticky. The dosage instructions based on horse’s weight is clear. There’ is no smell, which is a bonus. The size fits in your hand for dosing. The build quality is more than adequate. I recommend this product.

Demodex infestation medicine
I purchased this for myself to use to fight demodex infestation! I was told it works and it did. I only used it when I would start to feel a lot of crawling on my body. At that time, I would take a small eraser size dose on my tongue. It tastes absolutely horrible. But it works. The cap is kind of hard to get off and put back on. But it works well and it is great quality.

i do not use this product often yet use once a year on pasture horses. i also give to mares prior to foaling and to any new horses that arrive. i do not give to foals until 10 months and usually wait until they are a year old.

Dual anthelmintics, less parasite resistance worry
I love this product and, like all medicines, I have to use it off-label for my alpacas. You get better coverage than using just one anthelmintics. Do make sure to run FEC to know what you are treating and which medication is necessary. I like the gel rather than having to poke my animals every time. It also kills more internal parasites than injections, going through the gastrointestinal tract with a gel. One tube typically treats 10 alpacas. MAKE SURE YOU WEIGH YOUR ANIMALS for proper dosing, it’s dangerous to guess and can cause an overdose. Under-dosing causes parasite resistance and your animal will be harder to treat in the future if not done properly. Always follow your vets instructions if using any dewormer!
