LIFE SAVER
this thing is sick!! it adheres to your tank & gives great temp readings. theyre very accurate & itâs very easy to read. itâs worked perfect since i got it which hasnât been long but it doesnât take long for technology to not work. so im happy with my purchase. im unsure of the battery life as i just got this product. but so far, so good. highly recommend to those who have very temperature picky fish. makes life a little bit easier

Perfect, better than expected
I wanted a small, inexpensive, accurate thermometer for my aquarium. I didnât want a big clunky thing that took up part of the view. The stick on strip I got from the big box pet store was slim but did not work. This item is small and narrow. It sticks on the outside of the tank. You tap it with your finger and the temperature lights up. Itâs easy to read at night or in the daytime. Iâm very pleased.

Perfect Snap on Fit!!!
Love the thermostat and it is pretty accurate according to our other thermo that was already in place. It takes up less space due to it being on the outside of our aquarium and it is placed on the side out of the way of view. Now it is battery operated and it is held on by adhesive sticker so I do not know how long the battery will last only time will tell. I am sure I would tear it up trying to take it off to replace the battery. For the price, I could just purchase a new one when this one goes out. I have had it for a couple of months so far and had no issues. Temp is pretty accurate.

A simple idea that seems to work well despite my initial reservations. You stick this thermometer to the outside of your tank at a level below the water surface level using the attached adhesive pad on the back. Give it 5 minutes and you should be getting an accurate readout. I’d have preferred a temperature in Celsius but once I checked and found that my chosen water temperature of 22 Celsius equated to 71.6 Fahrenheit I was all set.T check the temperature you merely touch the power symbol on the front and the temperature displays in bright, clear green digits that extinguish again after around five seconds. Power is provided from a CR2032 button cell that has a claimed life of around 12 months, but then what? The battery is accessed from the rear of the thermometer which you can only get to by prising the unit off the glass rendering it unusable. A spare adhesive pad would have given a couple of years which I would have found more palatable. Accuracy is good at ±1 ° F and I was reading 71.8 F with my heater set at 22C (71.6F).It’s wireless in the sense that there’s no wired temperature probe to worry about but it isn’t going to transmit data to your phone, unfortunately. Big and easy to read it’s a shame you can’t change the battery once installed.
