Rain Bird GARDENKIT Drip Irrigation Raised Bed Garden Watering Kit. This easy-to-install Drip irrigation kit contains everything needed to water up to a 4’ x 8’ raised bed garden season after season. Easily configured to fit all types of single, or multiple garden beds in a variety of sizes. Drip irrigation efficiently waters at low volume near the root for healthier plants, higher yields and up to 80% water-savings. Professional-grade brown emitter tubing coil contains (70) emitters spaced every 6”. Pressure-compensating technology ensures all plants receive equal watering regardless of position along tubing run. Each built-in emitter provides a 0.8 gallon-per-hour flow rate, won’t clog, and requires zero maintenance. High-quality components with resins engineered to last season after season. Kit includes: (1) 3/4” faucet to 1/4” tubing adaptor, (1) 25 psi pressure regulator with 150 mesh filter washer, (1) 35’ roll of 1/4” emitter tubing (6” spacing), (1) 25’ roll of 1/4” distribution tubing, (10) 1/4” coupler fittings, (10) 1/4” elbow fittings, (10) 1/4” end cap/goof plugs, (10) 1/4” tubing stakes, and a detailed user manual that makes installation easy with illustrated instructions and various system layouts. Simple setup: connect to water via 3/4” hose adapter and pressure regulator, run black tubing to planting area where brown emitter tubing distributes water to your plants. Use included stakes to hold tubing in place, various fittings make connections and terminate tubing runs. Tubing may be buried or left on top of soil. Install tip: tubing is easier to unroll/work with if you place in direct sun for 1-hour. To automate your system, add a Rain Bird 1ZEHTMR Hose-End Timer (sold separately). **Very Important** Do Not Extend Kit by adding more 1/4” tubing, significantly reduced water flow will result. Purchase additional kits if more distance is needed, if branching from Y-splitter, or connecting to another faucet/garden hose. Rain Bird “The Intelligent Use of Water”

Very Pleased! Easy for first time assembling irrigation.
This was my first time ever using any kind of irrigation, and this kit met my expectations. Iâm not sure why so many people have low reviews, because I found the kit very user friendly, and it really isnât that hard to put together. Just took a little time, a little learning curve, and patience to do it correctly. Donât be scared off by the bad reviews. I liked it so much, that after learning what parts I needed, I added more irrigation to other beds. Would definitely recommend.

Works great and easy to install
I have had it out in the yard for a month now and no leaks on system. It is working as described and performing great.

Poor instructions for assembling.
I bought the kit for watering my raised beds that are planted with vegetables. The explanations are in very small print, and some parts will not work as described. Even the U-Tube helpers couldn’t help. I can’t get it fully connected.I wish I could send it back.

Everything you need
I installed a small garden for a client and this pack helped control expenses and helped with billing. Well thought through.

Didn’t work out of the box, had to buy additional part
This kit ended up working, but the install was really frustrating because the 1/4″ distribution tubing does not fit with the tubing adapter that connects it to the pressure regulator – the hole in the adapter is too big, so the hose just slips right out of it, there’s nothing to hold it in place… it leaks like crazy. I thought I was just doing something wrong until I looked at the reviews for just that tube adapter by itself here on amazon, and all the recent reviews are people complaining about the same thing and that it doesn’t even fit their own tubing anymore.I tried sealing it with silicone, but it wasn’t really working. I finally gave up and bought a different style adapter by Habitech that has a barb for the hose to connect to securely, and have not had any issues with that so far. Also, I’m fairly sure there’s no backflow preventer built in to this pressure regulator, so you’ll need to buy that as well.

Works great
Gave to my son for a gift for his birthday to use in his raised bed garden. It works great.

A few tips…
Like others, I had difficulty fitting the line into the hose adapter, a few seconds on the end of the line with a lighter (no more!) made it pliable enough to squeeze in. Only do the very tip, and push it well inside the adapter piece, or it will deform and leak. The stakes used to position the drip line have three positions where the hose will be clamped. The very lowest position is too tight and crimps the drip line, use the top or middle position. If you have a plant that needs a lot more water than the rest in your bed, you can use the middle position on the stake, loop the line around the base of the plant, and then use the top position on the same stake for the looped line before continuing on.

Worthless instructions, parts donât fit
The instructions are absolute garbage. The very first step is never explained and it just says âfits easily.â Well no, it doesnât fit at all. I had to heat up the hose to get it in the âeasily fittingâ adapter and then it leaked. Donât waste your money but definitely save your time.

I love the simplicity of this system and the spikes are great for holding it in place. Because it is a drip system you may want MORE hose than you realize to ensure even water distribution.I’ll be ordering a second kit to cover off my 24*2 ft raised veggie garden a bit better.Follow the instruction suggestion to let the hose warm in the sun to avoid kinda and curls.
