Rain Bird T22-100S Drip Irrigation 1/4″ Blank Distribution Tubing, 100′ Roll, Black. Versatile 1/4″ blank distribution tubing may be used as the main line in a small Drip irrigation system or to branch off from 1/2″ Drip tubing to individual micro-watering devices and plants. Rain Birdβs 1/4″ distribution tubing is the strongest and most flexible tubing available; constructed of UV-resistant polyethylene resin materials giving it the flexibility of vinyl with the hold of poly. Unique Micro-Porous design creates an ultra-tight connection; tubing expands over fittings then shrinks making it almost impossible to remove without cutting. Textured finish improves handling to make connections faster and easier. Compact coiling method allows tubing to remain coiled as its extracted; making it easy to use, store and eliminates waste. Tubing is easy to unroll and stake in gardens, flower beds, ground cover or other landscaped areas. Industry leading flexibility allows tighter turns with fewer elbows for fast, easy installation. Perfect for small, narrow and tight planting areas, as well as areas with tight curves or many switchbacks. Professional-grade for unmatched resistance to chemicals, algae growth and UV damage. Designed for underground or above-ground installation. Rain Bird 1/4″ Tubing is commonly used with Spot Watering Emitters, Micro-Bubblers, Misters and Sprays; also to run water to 1/4β Emitter Tubing (from 1/2β distribution or emitter tubing and a wide variety of Drip manifolds). 70 psi pressure rating exceeds competitorβs specifications. Compatible with most brands of 1/4β barbed Drip fittings and micro-watering devices. High-quality Rain Bird fittings (sold separately) are available in coupling, elbow, tee, plug and valve models; plus stakes in plastic and galvanized versions. Specifications: black; 0.25″ outside diameter, inside diameter 0.17″, wall thickness .04″. Operating pressure: 0 to 70 psi. Also available (sold separately) in: 50′ (T22-50S) and 250′ (T22-250S) rolls. Rain Bird βThe Intelligent Use of Waterβ

It works well!
This tubing is very effective, and you get much more than you pay for!At this price, I have very few complaints about this tubing. I use this tubing as a part of my lettuce garden’s flood and drain hydroponic system, and it works exactly as I expected it to. I connect this tubing to the manifold, and then to my buckets. Water floods the buckets quickly because it is being pushed by a pump, and drains a little bit slow but that is fine.Yes, the tubing is rigid, and has a “curve” to it, which makes it somewhat difficult to work with… but that is the only issue I have experienced with this tubing. Once you place the tube in one area, it may move as water flows through..but that’s not a deal breaker.I’m very satisfied with this tubing, and I would highly recommend it because you get so much tubing for a very small price.Thanks!C. Extension tubing for our garden and flower pot irrigation system. Works well. No leakage noted

Not what i expected, but works
I was expecting a much more flexible rubbery plastic based on the pictures, like a vinyl. This is a more rigid plastic which will kink. The finish is rough and textured, not smooth as shown. I think it’s legitimate product based on the oem description. The best 1/4″ line I’ve found so far is “mister landscaper”. It’s very flexible, never kinks, you can tie it in a knot. It does have a tendency to pop off some of the undersized budget attachments in direct sun after a year. But, it is super easy to get to stay where you want it. I have sections i haven’t touched up in 7 years. It’s also 3-4x the price. This product on the other hand has a tendency to fight you, because it wants to retain the curve memory. You have to be more careful going up and over the edge of a raised bed, because it will trend to crimp rather than bend if you start running out of slack. I find lengths have to be more precise, because of the lack of flexibility and the tendency to spring back. It will take a fairly tight radius before it kinks, as pictured. Once kinked though, that spot will fold over much easier forever after. It does hold the barbed attachments well, but will need to evaluate if that holds true an entire season. I usually get a few years before i need to cut a fresh section of the mister landscaper line.I would say this is much better suited to the barb connectors not the thread in emitters. The outer diameter being narrower doesn’t clip into the stakes used with the thread in style. They do seem too thread in tight enough though. I haven’t tested under pressure, and probably won’t since a 90 or 180 degree emitter needs to stay where you aim it, and i don’t want to mess around with zip ties when other products work.

Assembles Easily
Unlike some tubing, the material in this tubing is flexible enough that you don’t need to use hot water to soften it when attaching it to couplings and nozzles. This makes the job much easier and so much quicker.

Great for irrigation system in a garden.
Easier to use in the heat of the sun (or with a blow dryer) to extend it out after being coiled in packaging.

Excellent
The quality is great. It molds around the barb of your connector or sprayer, etc. which prevents it from sliding backwards even from high water pressure. It’s a little tough to get it on because of this, but worth the effort.
