Customers say
Customers find the pet door durable, with one mentioning it withstands pawing and low climbing, and appreciate its effectiveness in keeping animals out of rooms. The product is easy to install and use, works well for introducing pets, and serves as a great inexpensive alternative to installing a screen door. The adhesive stickiness and zipper durability receive mixed reviews – while some find the adhesive good and the zipper sturdy, others report issues with the adhesive not staying stuck and the zipper breaking easily.

Really Good Product, that I will order again for my other bedrooms and maybe even front door.
*UPDATE: I must have deleted the photos I have of the item. Iâm so sorry, but I will add them as soon as I can*Ive never written a review for items that I have purchased, but I know how I rely on the reviews and pictures when I look to buy something, so I thought I would share. I am so happy with this item. I purchased this cat mesh item from Amazon in white, and I couldn’t be happier with the quality and performance. This product is incredibly sturdy and holds up strongly, even with my energetic cats around. One of the best aspects is that my cats don’t mess with it at all, which is a huge relief. It also came with pins, but I havenât had to use them, the tape that come with the item is very strong and is holding well on its own.Itâs very easy to install. Personally I found it easier to apply the double-sided tape to the product before putting it on the door frame. That way I could control section while sticking it. I use the dry rag to rub the product against the door frame with the sticky tape on it so that I could apply good pressure while pushing it against the frame.Overall, it’s a fantastic product that I highly recommend to other cat owners.

Would recommend
Iâve been really impressed with this product! I bought three of them, and they were incredibly easy to install. The Velcro and sticky tape are holding up well, and the zippers work smoothly. I love being able to keep my upstairs doors open for airflow without worrying about my cats damaging the furniture or getting into things they shouldnât. The ability to roll up the “door” for easy entry and exit when I’m not using the zippers is also a great feature. So far, my cats havenât tried climbing them (at least not that I know of), so I canât speak to how well they would hold up in that scenario. I do wish the size I purchased came in white, but other than that, I highly recommend these!

Good, but be aware of zipper issue after a while
This is my second time buying the product. I bought first one back in July 2024. It worked pretty good for a while, but zipper failed last week. I noticed zipper is not smooth as past after 6 months, but it worked so I continued to use it. Soon, it completely failed and won’t close. So, I had to replace them. The reason I buy it again is that even zipper failed, it worked for a decent period of time, so I decided to give another try. I got little larger one than my bedroom door cause there’s no exact size as my door, but it works. Material itself is light but strong enough so no issue with cat scratching it. I will see how it goes.

Great for introducing new kitten!
This screen is being used to divide the house as needed while we acclimate our new kitten. Being a kitten, she is a professional troublemaker who will bully our older cat and chew on cords if she gets into the wrong part of the house unchaperoned.Setting it up was okay. I have to be honest, my measurements fell short, and the screen I got doesn’t reach all the way up to the top of the doorway. Fortunately that’s good enough for my purposes, until and unless the kitten learns to climb the screen (knock on wood she doesn’t). It was really hard to lay the edges flush on the door frame without leaving a lot of little gaps. The adhesive is okay, certainly sufficient to hold the screen in place, but some spots have come loose over time, especially around the bottom where the zipper gets tugged around. However, the screen did also come with some tacks for extra insurance, and adding those at the pain points helps a lot, so I appreciate that foresight.Compared to a door, the zipper is inherently slightly more awkward. No real way around that. It’s harder to use if you’re carrying anything, and of course it’s pretty tricky with a kitten trying to slip through (though that’s tricky with doors too). I think that this wouldn’t be a great solution to block a doorway where people need to go back and forth a lot; it’s better as something that you either have mostly closed for a while or mostly open for a while. When you are leaving it open, the screen can be rolled up and secured out of the way on one side.I will say that as of yet, the kitten hasn’t made any major effort to break through it. She likes to attack the zipper while it’s being used and the opened screen panel when it hangs loose, but that’s play. If she really tried to, say, pull up the bottom of the screen off the floor, I have my doubts that this would hold up to her. But that’s a what-if. So far, this screen has been a very useful tool over the months we’ve had it in place!UPDATE a couple months later: The adhesive has continued to weaken slightly with use. In addition, the older cat ended up being the one to make an active attempt at getting past the screen; she was indeed able to overcome the adhesive, but not the tacks. At this point, the bottom portion of the screen is relying entirely on tacks to stay in place. However, the adhesive IS still holding with the upper parts that don’t get as much stress. It’s going to depend on your doorway and your usage, I guess.

I loved this, until the zipper failed
We foster kittens and have a great room for them but it only has a sliding barn style door so I needed a way to keep kittens in. I found this screen door and it worked great, until just over a year later (purchased in January 2023, had to replace in April 2024) when the zipper broke. Yes, cats and kittens did a little climbing on it (and I was amazed that they never put holes in this thing) but the zipper just wasn’t up to being opened and closed multiple times per day. Disappointing. The replacement I purchased in April 2024 opened on the opposite side, which I was NOT a fan of (due to the light switch being on the right side and the door opening on the left side) but otherwise it seemed equally sturdy. Until this month (July 2024) when the zipper failed AGAIN. And this time, a tear started near the bottom as well. Sigh.So I guess maybe give it a try but know that the zippers have been an issue for me. I’ve ordered a new one from a different company to see how it works this time.

My cats climbed up this several times. The material is durable. The size was exact for a very wide door. The zipper is good. Just had to tape the bottom because they crawl through it. Helps with introduction of new cat.

I have indoor only cats and have wanted to be able to leave my door open on warm days and let some fresh air in! Previously I haven’t been able to as my cats are escape artists and have found their way out somehow, but this product allows me some peace of mind and I don’t have to worry about them escaping. The zippered area is also large enough that it’s simple enough to get things through it, such as the chair I used to hang the netting. Overall, I’d recommend this product to anyone with indoor cats. None of my cats escape attempts have been successful and it’s a big relief.

The adhesive in the back of the Velcro can hardly stand the weight of GRAVITY, never mind a cat clawing at it

Cat climbs it sometimes and still holds great. The mesh is good quality, but the tape fell after a week. I nailed it to the wall and it worked well

So I have a 17 yr old cat who HATES her baby brother I adopted. They do not get along so being a pampered brat she is she got her own room but you can’t put a screen door on a bedroom door and baby gates suck.Stumbled on this and it’s like Angles sang a song. Easy to install, strong mesh that survives them slapping each other and Anubis climbing it still looks freaking new! This thing litterly is a game changer if you have cats that can not be together but want them to have their own space and still interact. Excellent, excellent product!
