Not ideal for standard aquarium
I bought this light for the duel mounting features. I have a cover over my tank, so I knew I’d have to rely on the sticky tape to hold up the light. Unfortunately, the light is too top heavy to be supported by the tape alone. I had to use duct tape to hold it in place. Not the prettiest solution, but it’s holding. Even if I were to remove the tank cover, the light clamp isn’t wide enough to clamp over the tank.

Really nice LED spectrum light for smaller tanks
This light was the perfect answer to lighting my new 3 gallon glass tank – it completely lights up the tank brightly and can be adjusted with different phases of blue light – it is shown on the first, brightest setting with mostly white light and some red mixed inThe only drawback is that it cannot be adjusted or angled in any way, it is fixed in place – it can be connected easily to the side of the tank either as a screw on situation or with double sided tape that is already attached to – either way, it should work for virtually any tank – I also like the soft touch on/off button on the very top of the light, instead of having to dig up a remote button or switch like all the other lights Iâve ever used – you just lightly press and hold for like 3 seconds to turn it on or off, and tap to get different light settings – the real test is how long it will last, time will tell – so far, I highly recommend

Beautiful Aesthetic
For lights of relatively compact design, aesthetics aren’t always a high priority but this light looks absolutely fantastic. Not only in the design of the housing, but also in the light that it produces. There are a really good number of combinations of the various LED’s to produce lighting throughout the spectrum, from cool blue to warm and a really rich daylight that highlights the colors of the aquarium. Sometimes lights with a touch function such as this one seem to resort to default off, so they don’t work with timers. This one defaults to the full bright setting, which is fantastic for this application. Also useful is the option to either clip on to the enclosure, or use the provided adhesive pads to attach to the side. Great design, overall!
