Definitely recommend!!
Love this little thing! I can move it anywhere in my iguanas terrarium @ any time. U can set it up in 2 different positions (see pics). The digits r easy to read and itâs super accurate. Iâve only had it not work 2x but Iâm sure that dropping it in the drinking water didnât help much. All I did was took the battery out for a while & it worked perfectly again. Itâs way more cost effective than the ones that u stick on the side w/a sticky back. Once u take those off u canât put them back on. The sticky back is a pain to get off the glass as well. If u want a clean, easy, effective way to monitor the heat & humidity of a terrarium this it the best option!! Only thing I would change is making it 100% water proof!

got wet and still works !!!
iâve seen reviews that made me skeptical of getting this regarding it getting wet and not working. mine got wet during a move and sure enough stopped working, **BUT** i took out the battery, wiped it off, and left the thermometer in the sun to dry, and itâs good as new and still as accurate as before. i just bought a second one for the cold side of my ball pythons tank. she loves climbing on them and just hanging out and vibing and i love that i can keep an accurate track of her humidity/heat levels. definitely recommend !!! they can be a little hard to read in certain lighting but you can fix that by putting a piece of white tape behind it if it bothers you that much 🙂

Donât Waste Your Money on This Useless Thermometer
I was hoping this would be a great addition to my reptile tank but it turned out to be a complete waste of money. The display is small and hard to read from any distance. Even though the suction cup is supposed to make it easy to attach to the tank it kept falling off every few hours. I would put it back on and within a short time it would slide down again.The temperature readings are totally unreliable. Sometimes it would show 10-15 degrees off from what my other thermometers were reading. This is especially concerning when it comes to keeping reptiles healthy. The humidity readings were also inconsistent. Itâs frustrating trying to rely on something that constantly gives false readings.The only positive thing about it is the fact that it looks somewhat sleek. But that doesnât matter when itâs practically useless for keeping my reptilesâ environment stable. Save your money and get a more reliable thermometer hygrometer. This one is definitely not worth it.

Doesn’t like water. At all.
Had this in my turtle tank and the suction held up fantastic. One day I went to clean the tank and accidently dropped it in the water for a split second and that’s all she wrote. I dried it out in salt and it still didn’t come back. My fault because this is made for terrariums and not for dropping in water. But I guess I figured it wouldn’t have just completely died.

Accurate Readings, Easy Display, Best for Glass
I absolutely love these. I just set up my first ever bearded dragon enclosure and these are so handy. I compared the readings to those made with a calibrated tool and they are accurate. The suction cups donât work well on the material of the sides of my enclosure (pvc) so I have them stuck on the inside of the glass doors until I decide what kind of adhesive or fastener I will use to get them to stay where I want them.

Cheap; Suction Cup Doesnât Work
I bought this for the brand name. It is completely cheap! The suction cup no matter which way you install it with the side mechanism or straighten the back does not stick to glass. I highly recommend finding a different one.!

My thermometer works, but the display is broken. While you can still read it if you really try, it’s hard to tell. Sometimes a number will disappear all together, and other times the number will be partially missing. It’s a really odd error in my thermometer.Edit: It turns out, the battery on my sysytem was just running low on juice. The unit came with one extra battery, and was quite easy to change out. It looks like I should have used my common sense before jumping to conclusions. Whoops!
