Its loose, fibrous texture promotes proper drainage and ventilation, making substrate maintenance easier. Perfect for tropical and forest-dwelling species, this versatile bedding can be used for multiple reptile types. The compressed format makes storage convenient and ensures you get maximum value. I ordered this for bedding for my chickens & it’s not what I expected. It comes in a 2lb block, you have to open it & soak it & then fluff it out, let it dry & then use it. I also didn’t like the fact it’s messy to use & has a weird smell.
