Small & Medium great for juvenile hognose snakes
I love the people giving this a bad rating because they didn’t read the dimensions. They’re listed plainly to see. These are great hides for my hognose snakes. Small is perfect for my year old males, medium is great for my larger year old females. They’re very sturdy, nice and dark inside for the snakes to feel secure, easy to clean, and have a little bit of a rough surface to help with shedding. I’ve bought several of these and I’m buying more right now!

Simple and effective, great for sterile setups
Bought this for my snake’s quarantine terrarium while treating him for mites. It’s easy to clean and fits a young (~130 gram) ball python perfectly. He uses this hide more than any of the nicer, more expensive hides I’ve bought him. It may not be attractive but it definitely provides a secure hiding spot for your reptiles. Just be careful not to leave it directly under a heat lamp because the black color absorbs a LOT of heat and it will pose a health hazard when it heats up like that! I would use this on the cool side of a terrarium or for a lower temperature species only.

arrived just in time to test!
Got it the day my snake was starting to shed talk about timing and oh man this thing was amazing the medium fit my juvenile ball python who is 170grams and he still had so much room could put two more of him if balled up but it allowed the perfect amount of space for him to work off his snake skin in one clean go and it was awesome.

Comfortable Spot For Reptiles
This is great for reptiles, mine loves to hide in it during the daytime. It may not be that decorative looking in your enclosure, but your reptile will absolutely love it for hiding. This is a good size for leopard geckos.

Idk way smaller for the price. I didn’t look at the dimensions (my bad) but I’ve been getting this style for years and small was not the typical small I’m used to especially for the price. I always get small for certain snakes and this just threw me for a big loop. Way too small. Even scales n tails “small” is larger and they overprice most everything. Oh well, I learned my lesson. This extra extra small for 8.99 won’t happen again in my life. I’ll be going back to the generic brand. Save those few bucks guys.
