Nice and heavy
Well made. This had a really good weight to it. I was surprised. still shallow enough for the snake and not too big. Came well wrapped in a nice will box. Good for small snake.

Not too impressed
The look of it is fantastic. This dish is shiny, solid black, and attractive looking. However, the smell when you first open the package is awful. It really has a terribly strong scent like chemicals. It may just be the packaging but it made me nervous to even use it. I washed the dish well with soap and hot water before filling it with cold water for my gecko. I already see the issue and that issue ended up happening. Crickets who jump into this dish will not be able to get out and they will drown and make the water dirty. This dish might be better for a snake, but this isn’t a good dish for lizards who eat small live insects. I also do not think this dish would be good for smaller tortoises or small lizards, as they could also have trouble getting out of the dish and drown. The value is just not here for this cost. I’m not happy with this dish and will not be using it for my gecko. I’ve already ordered a replacement.

4 stars for ridiculous price, awesome dish
I love this little dish so much! It is exactly as described and came in a nice sturdy box. The smell everyone is mentioning comes from the black foam inside the box supporting the bowl. Hand washing the dish once fixed the smell completely. It’s a decent size but thankfully not too big for my tarantulas tank. It has some weight to it too so it feels expensive. The only thing I don’t agree with is the price point. I don’t think this dish is worth more than $20 give or take. $40+ is a little steep for something so basic especially when you know it’s being mass produced in a Chinese factory for 10c each. Other than the completely ridiculous price this is an awesome and stylish snake head dish!

Paint not safe for pets
Smelled like paint. I would not use this with an animal. The smell is very strong and the outside of the bowl does not look like they did a sealant over the paint. I donât want my pet eating toxic paint.

Beautiful, sturdy and functional
This bowl is very nice! Very sturdy, and perfect depth for my snake enclosure. I have a male pied ball python and this dish works great in the corner. It is made of resin, however, has the feel and look of glass, and is heavy and solid. Would recommend this dish!!

Expensive and chips easily
This reptile water dish initially appears quite attractive with its shiny finish and appropriate size for either water or food for my leopard gecko. However, the quality raises some concerns. Upon arrival, I noticed remnants of glue on the bowl, giving the impression that it had been previously used, and it required significant scrubbing to clean off. Additionally, there was a chip on this supposedly brand-new item. While it performs adequately and looks appealing at first sight, it does not offer good value for the price. It feels overpriced for what it is, and I suspect a large portion of the cost is attributed to the packaging, which is gift-ready, although mine arrived damaged and partially torn.I hope my review proves helpful to you.

Nice water basin
It’s a very nice water pot. I got it for my son’s gecko. The gecko uses it all the time and relaxes in it sometimes.
