【Dimming Reptile Thermostat】The dimming thermostat is a very accurate temperature control method. It’s designed specifically for controlling heat lamps, smart PID heating mode is more stable and efficient which can improve bulb lifetime. Although it’s perfect for heat bulbs, it’s also suitable for almost any heaters. (DO NOT use it with sunlamp)
【Safety & Reliable】This temperature controller has highly accurate & precise sensor which can sensitively detect the real-time temperature and make adjustments, so you can always keep the reptile heat lamp in right temperature. Constant temperature control range is from 20℃ to 50℃ (68°F to 122°F)
【Easy to Use】: Simply put in the temperature prob in the location that requires monitoring, set the appropriate temperature and then connect the heating device. LED digital screen can directly display ambient temperature and setting value. You can switch celsius and fahrenheit at will
【For Reptiles Health】: Compared to general thermostats, our dimming thermostat can avoids temperature instability and strong lighting changes, it’s more beneficial to reptiles health. Temperature is very improtant to reptiles, their habitat must be set within a suitable temperature range to ensure their health and vitality
【Multiple Usage】: This thermostat can be attached with heat lamps, heating mat, heat cable, and can be used for reptiles, pet breeding, hatching or anything else that need to control temperature. (We would highly recommend this thermostat If the heating device is light bulbs) Maximum output load: 300W
Customers say
Customers find the thermostat easy to use and set up. They appreciate its functionality, temperature control, and value for money. Many find it accurate, safe for pets, and adjustable. However, opinions differ on dimming.

Donât buy this –
Must have
This is a necessary for your reptiles enclosure. Being able to set and maintain a certain temperature is needed for their well beingWorks well havenât had any issues and keeps the hot side of my tank hot. It also knows exactly when to turn off so it doesnât get too hot.Setting the temperature is a little weird, but simple when you figure it out. All you gotta do is hold down the middle button for a couple seconds until the display starts flashing, then use the left and right button to adjust the temperature and press the middle to confirm.

Good product
Great price for a functional thermostat. It was difficult to set up properly but overall just fine.

Handy little thermostat
I ordered one of these for a gecko and have been happy with it. Mine is about a year and a half old now and hasn’t had any malfunctions. Easy to set and use, would order again.

Good investment
Works great! Keeps correct temperature to what we set it at, adjusts/dims when it gets to warm.

Affordable, accurate and easy to use!!!!
Product review on the ReptiZoo PID Mini thermostat. Absolutely love these! We use DHP day and night. Day temp set to 87° and night temp 81°. It gradually heats the enclosure, which seems more natural to me instead of 81°, BOOM, 10 mins later 87°. It’s 5:30am in Central Florida and I just set the 2 thermostats to 87° for the day. The ambient temperature will reach 87° around 10am and be maintained throughout the day. The thermostats do allow a 5° temperature variation DOWN, but when I check my Govee’s there is not major fluctuation, maybe a degree or less. See pics. Don’t mind the temps looking off, I have my Govee’s in odd spots right now so they look low but they’re more on the cool side right now, but you can see in the graphs they are no more than a 1°F temperature drop at any point. We tried Pymeter dimming thermostats and loved them, but they emit a high tone that drove my dog nuts. Then we tried Inkbird, but they were on/off, and even though we had it to turn off at only 0.5° below the set temperature, the temperature fluctuation was ridiculous. It would often get 6-8° below and up to 4° higher than our set temp. Then we tried CavaChew and they were ehhhh. They allow that same 5° temperature fluctuation as the ReptiZoo but they really had fluctuations that I was able to measure with our Govee’s, so ambient temp fluctuated a lot. We have our probes dangling beneath the DHP to get accurate heating temps (took some playing around with for correct basking temperatures), but after a day or 2 we got it. They are inexpensive, super easy to use and set up. Both our BP noodles now come out to bask or explore nightly as soon as the lights turn off and don’t go back to their hides til the sun comes up. We do routinely measure the basking areas to ensure they aren’t too hot, and never exceed 93° at night. They hide all day, so basking temps are a bit higher during the day, but they never come out during the day. We were previously using CHE for daytime and DHP for night, but switched solely to DHP 24/7 and it’s worked wonders. Temps are on point, humidity is on point (higher right now for shedding), and not over drying our substrate. We’re only having to add water once a week and mix the substrate every 4 days. Overall, love these thermostats and highly recommend them.We will be switching to PVC 4x2x2 by the end of the year and using radiant heat panels, so I’m going to have to research how these thermostats work with those as far as probe placement and accuracy. Excited to see what’s to come.

Worked for awhile
It worked well for six months, now it won’t regulate my basking lamp anymore.
