Not as advertised
This lamp does not dim as advertised â it turns the light fixture off and on, resulting in unstable temperatures.
It also does not work. After less than a week of use, the previously reliable thermometer readings were off by 10*F or more, rendering the thermostat function completely useless.
Does not work. Not safe. If you own this, be sure to use a backup method of temperature monitoring to ensure the safety and well-being of your pets.

Perfect for what I needed
I got this to run an additional dhp for my ball python enclosures this winter and the attached thermostat if you will makes it very easy to control the heat levels in which it works. I have been monitoring with a temp gun and itâs been great so far

Does not come with bulb- inaccurate product title and description
The description clearly states that this includes a bulb, but it does not. Now I have to go out and get one. Would have purchased a different option if I had known.

Flickers constantly
It has a lot of positive reviews, so I hoped that it was just a few bad units that did this. Nope! Worked great on day 1, and flickered constantly on day 2. Total junk. Controls aren’t explained well, but it’s not actually complicated to figure out. Would’ve been a good little unit if it didn’t turn into a strobe light.

Does not work with ceramic heat emitter
It will not regulate heat if you use a ceramic heat emitter. If you use regular red bulbs, it creates a hotspot.
