Pretty decent product.
I haven’t gotten the whole terrarium set up just yet, but so far, so good. I bought the 10 pound bag and it was perfect to make a roughly 1.5 inch base layer in my 40 gallon (36x18inch) terrarium. I did not wash the balls, because when I opened the bag it appeared to have nearly no dust. After adding it to my tank, there was still no dust. However, your results may vary.

AWESOME! Very useful product.
I bought 2 10pound bags of this product to kinda figure out how much will I need for my 40gal zoo med tank. Turns out only one of the bags worked well on my tank and BOOM! Thatâs when it was time to get my hand dirty and start setting up my bio tank for my beautiful ball python! Definitely recommend this for those passionate to start a bio tank, itâs easy to use and you just gotta follow the instructions in the bag, the 10 pound bag comes in a decent size and appearance wise it looks well packaged, it is definitely worth my money due to the good quality it has and on my budget not like other products that where x3 time the price of this one!ðð¼ðð¼ðð¼ Remember to always do youâre research before starting your bio tank for your reptiles, YouTube guided me to affordable products like this one to start a bio tank for my little baby.

Grab a little extra
You may want to grab more of this than you think youâll need for a proper drainage layer! I ended up needing to add additional gravel in my 12x12x18 but otherwise this stuff works great. Make sure to rinse it first!

all around good value for money
bought the 10lbs and it was overkill i have enough to do another 4 tanks probably. very easy to clean i only had to give them a quick rinse how well the work will be determined but this is my first time using leca balls

Good
I greatly underestimated the amount of hydro balls I needed for a drainage layer. This was a good budget option. One bag (combined with the first bag of zoo med hydro balls) was enough for my 18x18x24 enclosure. Theyâre a bit bigger in size compared to the hydro balls, but I donât mind the variety.

Donât forget to wash
It works really great, the bag was fairly small but filled it where I needed it to be. Quality is great not as much dust or dirt youâd typically find with most clay balls, your really paying for what you get, just smells like clay nothing too crazy lol.
