Lots of moss
I bought this because of the tropical terrariums I have will take time to grow live plants or moss enough to cover humidity. This is the stop gab until then. This block will take a long time to get through and perhaps wonât use it all but itâs nice to have it on hand and much better to than buying a small amount of moss at a time. The green is greener than live moss I bought that doesnât seem to take hold.

It’s moss. You put it in a tub, pour some water over it and it rehydrates. I used this moss for moss poles for my plants. My ONLY complaint is that it dries out really quickly. I don’t think that’s the moss’s fault tho, it’s the time of year and the humidity, or lack there of in my house.

This is definitely dyed and Iâm seriously doubting that itâs moss at all. I thought it was strange that the color was so different than in the photo, but thought maybe it was because it was dry. I mixed it in with some substrate and water and let it rehydrate. Well the color is still a very much an artificial green and looking closely it looks like thread or some kind of fiber; definitely not like any moss Iâve purchased in the past. I donât feel comfortable putting it in with my snake, so itâs going in the trash unfortunately. I added photos of it dry and wet (it had already been mixed into the substrate, thatâs the non green pieces).
