Metal Bird House Guard with Copper Portal
My husband and I love these copper portals for birdhouses. They are working and effective. We have a problem with squirrels and these help keep squirrels away from birdhouses. Without these copper portals, squirrels chew out holes and invade the birds.

Look nice except the screws
As described. They are what they are and do what they do. Knocked a point off because the screw heads protrude more than expected making a less than beat appearance. I swapped them out for flush head screws.

Ok product but buy better screws
The brass protector itself is good quality but the screws they include are not appropriate. They are tapered and stand out from the surface of the birdhouse making it look weird and unfinished . The birds probably wouldnât mind!⦠but I didâ¦I ended up buying different brass screws and it looked much nicer.

Perfect for Bluebirds
We used these metal guards on bluebird houses to prevent other birds from making the holes larger to gain access to the house. All have worked great, ant the bluebirds visit us every year. We’ve also used these on the mealworm feeder.
