WHITE LED 1 watt brooder attaction bulb. Now with LED this bulb has more light output than our previous 7 watt incandescent and only uses 1 WATT!!!! A low wattage light should be used to attract the baby chicks to the heating element, feed, and water. Red lights have been used for years and are still preferred by many breeders. Blue lights have been very popular in recent years. Low intensity white light has been shown to increase food conversion and does not cause added risk for pecking and is perfect to light coops. Connects to a standard size E27 US light socket. Poly globe make it safe to touch, does not put out heat and chickens will not break like glass bulbs.

Definitely not a brooder bulb. DO NOT BUY FOR GQF BROODER
DO NOT BUY FOR GQF BROODER as a replacement bulb! This is not the correct kind, it is cheap plastic and will MELT!!! The correct ones for the GQF brooder is an actual glass bulb.

Great light & no heat
I used these blubs in my small stair lights. They work great and importantly produce no heat. The incandescent blubs of the same size I used before overheated and burned out quickly.

This barely puts out enough light for the birds to see. I had to put something brighter in. Also, the bulb either shattered in use or somehow one of the chicks broke it off. It lasted 3 days.
