Hummers love it!
I like the product because you can put it on a table in front of a window and view the hummingbirds. I found it to be difficult to hang because it became off center . I like the concept! Getuone!

Poor Quality Control
We so hoped this would be a good hummingbird feeder. It looked great right out of the package. Then I filled it with nectar and put water in the ant moat….it was all downhill from there.The ant moat initially looks like it would hold a generous amount of water, however, there are 3 small holes above the bottom of the cup that intentionally allow only about a half inch of water to remain in the cup which evaporated in less than 2 hours. Weird!! See closeup pic.The reservoir for the nectar, which is not very deep, but probably holds enough for a day or two depending on the number of visitors, is very easy to fill. But when I hung the feeder it was immediately noticeable that is not balanced properly, which causes it to lean to one side and dump out enough nectar to balance itself, albeit unlevel. See the other picture. Just more poor quality from you know where!!!It’s going back!!

I love the idea behind this and how it prevents the bees from getting the nectar. I just wish it was a nicer quality. The top does not snap to the base so it leaks terribly when moving or hanging it up. Once up it is fine, but hangs a little crooked. Overall I like it but wish it snapped together for a leak proof feeder.

You have to open the ports somehow
There are rubber stoppers with slits that the hummingbirds can put their beaks into to get to the nectar. It is supposed to prevent some leakage and prevent ants and bugs getting into the nectar, but the hummingbirds can’t get to it either. They don’t even notice the feeder. We had to physically open them with scissors and we still don’t know if the birds will be able to locate the feeders even though we have had feeders in the same spot for years. Do they smell the nectar? It would be impossible with the closed ports. The next step will be to cut the little flaps where we opened the slits to make a small hole. What a pain!
