Great quality and beautiful figures
The unicorn, sea unicorn, fairy, and mermaid are really pretty.Theyâre really sturdy and water proof. The mermaidâs horse is not really a mer-horse, though. Itâs a mythical creature called a hippocampus. They were half horse, half fish creatures that were said to pull the chariots of the Greek and Roman gods of the sea, Poseidon and Neptune. The hippocampus is my favorite.

We purchased these toys for our 5 year old daughter, and she loves them! She’s into anything unicorn, mermaid, or fairy at the moment, so these were a huge hit meeting all three.The unicorns themselves are wonderfully crafted. And we love that the fairies sit on the unicorns so easily. But, the arms on the fairies fall off very easily. In fact, we have lost one of the fairy’s arms already.If the fairies were one solid piece, like the unicorns, they would be absolutely perfect! But, my daughter still loves playing with them, missing arm and all.

I was really happy to see I could get a box set of these toys. I have decided I like these Bayala toys and am adding to a little collection for my two year old. It started with the axolotl set I found at an indie toy shop last summer. Bought them and put them away for this Christmas. I had my eyes on some of the mermaids and fairies and unicorns ever since. This set has a baby unicorn with a pretty shell on her.(incidentally, I actually got a couple small unicorn babies separately, and they are just a touch smaller than the baby that came with this set. So this baby unicorn in this set is a nice value) A fairy with her pretty horse friend, and a mermaid with a mer-horse haha. The fairy stays on the horse really well because of her dress, it kind of clips her on so that while your child plays with her(or you! Iâm not judging!) she doesnât fall off. Like wise, the mermaid is cleverly designed to balance on her merhorse with her hand out on the mane, combined with a magnet in her lil bum, which together keep her seated pretty firmly. I added the prices of these items separately and this is definitely the best value way to purchase these. The merhorse set was retailing for 18 dollars CDN, the baby unicorns are about 6-10 CDN, and the woodland fairy and her horse are I think 35 CDN. I am already eyeing up more to add to the collection. I just love them. The sparkles, the colours, theyâre just great. Iâm writing this review and am looking at them set up on her table and they look so pretty and magical.
