Poor Design – Rubs Hair Off
Itâs a nice fly sheet, except when you realize that the poor quality of design has affected the health of your horseâs coat and skin. The issues were the folds sewn together on the inside around the shoulders to make the shoulder âflap.â My fit sheet fits my mare perfectly with plenty of room, but a day of basic walking movement in a 10×30â pen rubbed all her hair off around the regions. I had to take cloth from a CHEAPER fly sheet and sew it on the inside to hopefully resolve this problem.

Quality fly sheet
I bought 2 fly sheets, they seem to be excellent quality, and fit well, if you have a stockier horse I would recommend going up one size, as my more muscled horse it fits well but is tighter across his shoulders, my younger leaner boy itâs perfect. Iâm hopeful they will hold up, to the 3yrs old antics, heâs not wore sheets before and was biting and pulling at the chest of the blank, the sheet shows no evidence from him playing with it all night. I absolutely love the fun colors and how breathable the fabric is, and how strong it feels.

The hardware is rusting
One week of use and the d rings, snaps, and clips are rusting. That’s a lot of money for only getting one season worth of use. The fabric is great and cleans well,but It’s a real shame that the hardware is going to ruin it.
