    Miracle worker!
I don’t know what my fish had. Just knew they were sick by the fact that they were laying on their side at the bottom of the tank. Used this every other day after a 50% water change. Mixed with seachum metroplex. After an evening things looked better, after a week back to normal.

    G3
Originally bought this product from a fish/aquarium store when my beta became bloated and sickly. It helped him, but unfortunately he was too far gone. Now with my new beta I add a little Seachem about 1 a week or so and he seems to be thriving. He looks happy and his fins are absolutely beautiful.

    The stuff works
EDIT: Amazon fixed the description – Matrix works – fed my fish with an eye infection and it healed quickly without having to deal with killing the beneficial bacteria of the tank. The vendor or Amazon has incorrectly used metadata to identify it as Metronidazole. The packaging Seachem uses for Focus and Metronidazole are the same. Do NOT purchase it unless you want FOCUS.

Search gives incorrect item – FOCUS is NOT Metronidazole
I searched for Metronidazole and FOCUS came up so ordered it. Nowhere on the page does it state that its something other than metronidazole. (An aside, the package arrived with cracked in the bottle and package was in a puddle of water so immediately asked for a replacement.) HOWEVER, I then looked at the label to see the ingredients on the bottle that I got – and its not what I thought I was getting or wanted. I had to cancel the replacement, and try to find metrodiazole, or order something else instead. I had to go to Seachem’s website to find what I needed. AMAZON, PLEASE change the results of what we get when we search for a product. Search results usually come up with numerous other unrelated things, but this one was just utterly ridiculous.

Amazon IS STILL SCREWING THIS UP!!
Ordered Seachem Focus. Amazon send Metronidazole instead. They are obviously mis-labeling the products on the outer packaging in the Amazon distribution center. Further their search engine returns FOCUS when you search for METRONIDAZOLE. They are very confused on this item, and their product managers need to get this straightened out.The wrong product is inconvenient. In the case of a wrong medication, it could be fatal for your fish.DON’T ORDER THIS UNTIL AMAZON GETS THEIR ACT TOGETHER.3/21After a talk with Amazon customer service, I received a return authorization for the incorrectly shipped product, and a promise to send the correct item, which they did the next day.

    not so fun to use
this stuff is a polymer dust that you are supposed to mix with medications and food.you then are supposed to add water and stir it up.you put the results in a tank and it quickly sinks and makes a mess.the seachem people said in the forums that what i just said is expected.i’m not so sure my fish are eating this slurry i am putting in the tank.i would rather use maracyn II and treat in a hospital tank

    wrong medication
I searched for kanaflex and this came up. The description states its an antibiotic with no active ingredient list so I assumed it did contain kanaflex that I needed to treat columnaris. Time and proper medication are of the utmost importance when treating this disease so now I am probably going to lose about 100 dollars worth of my rainbow fish because of my trust in amazon. Lesson learnedFor those viewing this item it contains nitrofurantoin (.1%) and that is all
