Cute, but not safe for leash walking
This outfit is for my 6 month old Bengal kitten, Dr. Sheldon Coopurr. He is 11.5 lbs. I probably should have gotten a medium size, but his current hoodie is a medium and it’s gotten too small. The body of the outfit fits him a little big, but it’s of a heavy material, so he should be super warm in it and give him a little room to grow. The hoodie is ridiculously big. I am going to have to put a few stitches in the back because it just falls over his head and swallows him up. My 3 star issue is that this hoodie advertises that you can use a leash with it. I assumed there was a hole in the back so the leash fed through. Nope. There is a hoop on the outside of the garment for you to hook the leash to. I don’t know a single cat OR dog that wouldn’t pull right out of that. There’s nothing to secure to the animal’s halter or collar. Now I have to cut a hole in it and do some janky sewing so the hole does not fray too badly so that I can feed his leash through the hoodie. It would have been so much easier if they just put a hole instead of a reinforced hoop. Overall cute, but not functional if you want to take your pet out in public with a leash.
