My cats love to use this as a horizontal scratcher. They also love to use it as a bed to lay on! It seems to be very sturdy and came with supplies to stick on multiple surfaces including couches. This adorable cat scratching pad is a real eye-catcher – both for my cats and my visitors. My people friends and family tend to do a double-take when they see Mona Lisa holding a ginger cat. The pad itself is well made and solid. It didnât stay curled for long after being unpacked, but laid flat soon thereafter. There was no âoffâ odor, and my cats were immediately curious. The only change I would request is to make the mat larger. My large Siamese tried using it right away, but he is longer than the pad, so it came up with his claws, rather than staying down on the floor. He quickly abandoned the mat, but my smaller cat enjoys laying on it. If the manufacturer could make one twice its size, they would have a winner.

I really love this scratcher and–more importantly–so do my cats! One of my boys (a ginger, of course) developed the bad habit of scratching an antique piece of furniture I own. I attached this scratcher to the side where he would scratch, and the problem was solved! Now, he loves scratching away at it (and I love the cute art print on it!)! Would definitely buy again.

It looks great and my cats do like it. We got it to attach to the side of our dresser, though. The items that were provided to attach to walls or fabric or other items do stick to the dresser, but not actually to the scratching mat. Now I have to get the adhesive off of our furniture and still have a floor mat when our cats prefer to stretch and scratch posts or the dresser wood. I’d like to use it for what I intended to use it for as was advertised by the seller.

My cat and I love it!
I think this scratcher is so cute. I love and appreciate art – so I love the âscreamâ scratcher. This brand does have others, some being more âaestheticâ than this, and I may order one of those in the future. The scratcher came rolled up, and upon unraveling it – it did have a slight odor. Similar to vinegar (probably from the ink used to print the image) but it does go away. The smell didnât bother me or my cat. Itâs easy to stick to a smooth wall, but if you have a textured wall the included Velcro stickers probably wonât stick. This is a nice addition to my catâs collection of scratchers!
