Perfect for filing nails and beaks
I really wanted something that would help our New tortoise keep his nails and beak, healthy. I made sure to order the exact measurements for the terrarium that we have and it turned out to be a perfect feeding platform. One side was slightly chipped on the corner, but not so much that it was unusable or noticeable unless, holding the item in your hand and observing it. Even with that slight bit of damage, this turned out to be exactly what I was looking for and does its job well. Very easy too clean!

I can’t complain about the size because my husband didn’t read the description but the quality is horrible it’s chipping and falling apart tons of sharp edges we won’t be able to use it and its not worth the drive or hassle to return it so it’s just getting trashed

Beardie loves it
This is exactly what I was looking for. I bought some bricks from Lowe’s to create a basking platform but had trouble finding a piece of dark tile to lay across them. This worked out perfectly. It is plenty big enough for Ralph to stretch out and it really does hold the heat. Would definitely purchase again.

Smaller than I expected
The slate rock itself does hold heat and helps keep the beak and nails in shape. It was smaller than I expected. Pay attention to measurements. I have no complaints. I hope you make them in larger sizes at some point. I have a 70 pound tortoise that has outgrown two of these so far.
