Second one after the cushion type.Pros: lighter than the cushion type, nice cotton material as opposed to polyester, diameter slighting wider which is good to prevent licking areas, looks cute, looks comfortable, double clips, seems water resistant, good mobility, value for money

Worked even better than we hoped it would!
Our cat is a bit of a contortionist. It’s amazing how she can worm her way in, and out, of places and things, including the previous post-surgical cone we were given to help keep her from licking the wound. The drama, sulking and pouting, while dealing with the plastic cone collar was off the charts, and the cat didn’t like dealing with the cone much, either. Joking aside, we needed help and found it in this wonderful donut-style device. It was easy to get over her head before she knew what was happening, and we could adjust the collar to fit her neck perfectly without cutting off her air or allowing her to wriggle out of its confines. She actually, to our shock, tolerated it wonderfully! She slept quite comfortably while wearing it. She could eat, drink, use her litter box and fuss at her sister with no trouble. I know this is a long-winded review, but unless you have had to struggle with a headstrong cat who knows how to, and isn’t afraid to, use her teeth and claws and refuses to wear the cone-shape plastic “Elizabethan” collar, you just can’t understand the tearful relief of owners who have been there, done that, and have the permanent scars to prove it. I love this collar, and I wish I had known about this style years ago. I recommend this unreservedly and I believe our kitty would also give a thumbs up if she could do so. Save your arms, save your hands and save your sanity and give this collar a try.

so much better than the cone!!
i am SO glad i ordered this before my cat was spayed. when i brought her home from the vet she was so stressed with the cone. (i asked the vet about using the donut and my vet approved.) i switched to the donut and my cat was so relieved. she doesn’t even really fight it being on. it’s lighter weight, seemingly comfortable for sleeping, stays on and she can see and move around so much better, and is effective keeping her from licking the wound. easy to clean and water repellent too. and everyone thinks it’s so cute lol.

Nice with one flaw.
This is very simple but works well. Must be on pretty tight on a cat so they don’t pull it off, but the cats liked them after about 15 minutes. I like the fact that they are not air filled. The only reason for 4 stars is that the collar part could be a bit softer. I feel the string kind of gouges into the neck a bit. But the price was great for 2 cats.

Cat is comfier- can lick some areas though (fine to me but maybe not other buyers)
It worked perfectly for my cats needs. She isnât allowed to lick her front arm for a while, and this stops her from doing exactly that. She was SUPER miserable in that plastic cone the vet gives you, walked backwards, was confused and discombobulated, and would just lay there and not be herself at all. With this cone, she is a little itchy and of course doesnât love wearing it, but she doesnât walk backwards and sheâs being her normal kitty self! She can play a little, she can sleep way more comfy, and sheâs overall happier in this. I also loved the price of this cone for the improvement it provided my girl.However! She can lick both her hind legs, her bum, AND the lowest part of her tummy! So if you need your cat to not have access to those areas, this may not be the right solution. It works for us because we only need her to not lick her front arms.

This was purchased after my cat was fixed. He seems to be a compulsive licker on any area that is damaged so having this donut was very helpful in his recovery. It definitely did the job required.I appreciated that it fit well but was also adjustable so when he figured out how to get it off, we could put it back on just a little bit tighter.My cat kicked and tore at this and it did not pop so I feel like it is made with sturdy enough material that is also easy to clean.I donât think my cat enjoyed having this on however it was cute.

Works great for my cat
My cat has anxiety and overgrooms. This little cone has been wonderful for her. It fits comfortably on her neck and doesn’t interfere with litter box using and eating/drinking. She can sleep comfortably in this cone unlike other stiffer cones i have tried out. This cone also does not block her vision, she can see easily and doesn’t run into anything. Another great thing about this is that she is not scared when I need to take the cone off and put it back on her, she does not mind wearing this at all. She is a large cat, about 17 pounds and fairly long.

Cat does not find it uncomfortable and not super heavy on their neck. Does a great job keeping them from reaching the unwanted areas. Looks wise is 10/10
