Eyes On Your Space Without Subscription Fees
As someone who’s always got a furry friend or two roaming around the house, I was really interested to try out this SOVMIKU pet camera to keep tabs on the chaos. And you know what? It’s actually a pretty solid little security cam, especially for the price.Let’s start with the good stuff: I love that there’s no required subscription or monthly fees to use the basic monitoring and recording functions. So many other pet/security cams try to nickle-and-dime you, but with the SOVMIKU, you can just set it up and start keeping an eye on things for free.The 2k resolution quality is also surprisingly crisp and clear, even when utilizing the 360-degree pan and tilt tracking. Being able to easily swivel the camera around gives great coverage of an entire room. The motion tracking works like a charm too – it dutifully follows my cats as they scamper about.The two-way audio is another nifty feature. With just a tap, I can pipe in to tell my dogs to get off the couch or congratulate the cat on another successful sock theft. The speaker quality is…okay? Not amazing, but gets the job done.Speaking of the speaker, that’s really my main gripe with this camera. Every so often, the audio starts bugging out with crackling static noises. A quick reset fixes it temporarily, but it’s a bit of a nuisance.But those little quibbles aside, I’ve been really happy with how well this SOVMIKU camera works for keeping watch over my pets and home. The tracking, video quality, and lack of subscription fees are all big wins in my book. It’s not fancy, but it’s an effective and affordable little monitoring solution!

UpdateCamera still works but after having it for a couple months I noticed it loses connection about every 4 to 5 weeks so u have to reset your wifi, reset the camera and then reconnect the two. All my other devices say my wifi is fine except the camera so I’m thinking it’s the camera forsure. It takes 15 to 20 mins to do this every month. Not a huge deal but definitely annoying. Sensitivity on motion is okay, catches it sometimes and sometimes not. But for the price, still a good camera for now.Great price, good video quality, and pretty easy set up. Tested motion tracking and that works well. For price point this is a great value especially if you just need a simple set up. And no subscription needed but it still alerts you on app when you are away from home.

So far so good picture is good connects to the Internet and stay active maneuvering. The arrows to view different directions is a bit tricky at first, but you figure it out. Itâs a good buy. Wish it was 360° but 180 works just fine

Won’t stay connected
It worked great for about an hour but won’t stay connected for some reason. It has a strong wi fi signal, firmware has been updated and it is fully charged. I don’t understand what the issue is.

Nothing can beat the price yet the product is great.
I’ve had 5 Sovmiku POE outdoor cameras and recently got 2 more wifi cameras. Since my wife and I have a dog, I wanted to see how she behaves whenever we leave the house, or at night since she sleeps in the living room.The video quality and voice through the camera beyond the expectation. I mean, it’s a 20 bucks camera and you cannot possibly expect a DSLR resolution. It is 2k (google it if you don’t know what 2k is) and it does its job.At one point, I had a technical issue with the camera so I contacted the customer service. As I experienced before, they replied back to me quickly, and resolved the issue at the end. I am more than happy to have their cameras for my house.
