Great for Sun conure travel

Good idea for most birds
Could be a little bigger for 2 cockatiels. I got it in case we would have to leave in a hurry and hopefully for trips to the vet. They are afraid of everything so Iâm sure there will be a lot of screaming. Seems like a great idea for most birds though. I put food inside and they actually have gone inside to eat.

This is bag is great for my birds.
I want to take my birds out to see nature when it’s warm enough again. I have 2 small parrots. I want to take them outside one at a time. I put my smaller parrot in this bag to see how he would do. I should lower the perch to the lower position because my bird climbs the side of the bag instead of just flying up to the perch. He flies a lot, so I don’t know why he didn’t fly up in the bag. He’s a Pacific Parrotlet, and they’re a little bit smaller than budgies or parakeets. His species might be the smallest species that’s regularly available in captivity in the USA. He might be able to stick his head through the holes in the front, but I really doubt he would ever do that. I don’t think he would be able to go past his shoulders if he did. I think he was just being curious in the video.
My Green Cheeked Conure hasn’t tried this bag yet. I’m sure he would do well in it.
I plan on taking my birds on a bike ride, and I’ll put this bag in my bike basket. I can also wear this on my back, but I lean forward too far when I’m on a bike. I don’t know if my birds would be comfortable that way.
I got this bag just when the weather got cold, and it’s snowing now. I’ll update this review when I have used it for short trips outside with my birds.
I added a toy by putting the toy’s hanger between the 2 zipper pulls on one side of the bag. It would be nice if there was a way to hang a toy in there. The bag is comfortable enough to wear as a backpack, but I’ll probably carry it by the handle most of the time.
