Cool toys for chicken enrichment but gets rusty
As a new chicken “parent”, I wanted to make sure that my hens had some enrichment in their run area. I purchased this set of toys and hung them up around the run. The girls seem to like pecking at their own reflections, which seems like how human women are about how they look… Hm…Anyway, although the girls like the toys, I did notice the other day that the bell portion is getting rusty. So this might be better used in an area that does not get a lot of rain.

My girls are playing with it. Itâs a nice size and seems sturdy. It came with four bead toys that I was going to hang but noticed that the calcium nugget is tightly wrapped in plastic. Oops, almost put it in the run without removing it.
