For the love of your pet Your fluffy budgie has bundles of energy that needs to be released by playing with toys and chewing on whatever they can sink their little teeth into. By providing your Eclectus friend with the right toys, you will make them happy and satisfied pets, and you, yourself, will be a content quaker owner. What could be more fun than a ball made of chewable coconut fibers! Not only will your pet be mentally and physically charged up by this ball, they will also enjoy chewing on the coconut to their heart’s content. Not just an ordinary playmate If you’ve been concerned in the past by artificial materials and dyes that many companies put into their pet products, you can now stop worrying. The fibers and twine that have been used to make this ball are raw and contain no other additives or dyes. The fibers are tough and thick, yet the ball itself is lightweight for your ringneck parakeet to toss and nudge around their hutch. For Retaining That Parrotlet Smile A parrot’s teeth grow continuously throughout their lives. For parakeet with insufficient dietary fiber, the teeth fail to wear down properly. This leads to abnormal growth of teeth which often cuts hooded’s cheek or tongue. Maloccluded teeth, as they are called, create abnormal pressure against one another, which adversely impact tooth roots making them elongated and inflamed. As a consequence, this overgrowth causes them discomfort. For your budgerigar’s happy life, regular tooth trim and increased dietary fiber intake is a way. The parrot Rope Ball aids tooth trimming, and taking overall care of your budgie. Before using the ball for the first time, we recommend giving it a rinse in lukewarm water. Each ball measures 3 inches’ in diameter and can be used for other small pets as well such as gerbils, hamsters, chinchillas and guinea pigs.

My African Gray Isn’t Interested
Admittedly my African Gray is a fussy little guy but he just completely ignores these fiber balls. He normally likes things he can tear apart – like my wife’s hand – but has shown no interest in these. I hung one in his cage about a week ago and it’s still untouched. Don’t understand why these don’t come with hangers, I’m using a thin wire that normally holds pieces of corn cob. Hard to picture an owner putting one of these in the bottom of a cage considering how messy birds are. Had high hopes but no positive results – I may try smearing one with peanut butter to see if that generates any interest. Sadly, not recommended.

not worth it
Cats essentially ignored them

Lot of dirt inside
It’s better for bigger Birds I got this for my parakeets but they enjoyed it it’s Coco fibers wrapped with twine works well if your bird likes to make nests once they open it contains a lot of dirt with in it that’s the biggest downside

Fine Fiber Toys
We have a very fussy parrot and he doesn’t often like new toys. These coconut fiber balls look fun and were good quality for parrots. Ours just wasn’t interested…like I said, he’s super picky. I’m sure they would be fun for a less-picky parrot!
