A fantastic solution to your reptile’s substrate
Impaction is one of the most-avoidable vet visits, in my opinion. Artificial sand is a common substrate for reptiles, despite how unhealthy it is for their guts. Carpet, paper, etc. are excellent replacements. Anything that won’t create small particles that our little guys can inadvertently consume.This carpet is highly recommended. It can be cleaned with some detergent in a sink or thrown in the washer. Do hang dry this, if you do the latter. It won’t stand up well to abuse or constant mistreatment. Other than that, it’s convenient, cost-effective, and a must for any herp keeper.

Easy to use, cut to fit, duct tape sticks… and he likes it!
This works so well. The worms & crickets used to hide under the old mat. But we put duct tape along the edge of this and I makes a nice border. No more wasted money on live food. The green seems appealing to the Bearded Dragon and itâs easy for him to take food from. No âfuzziesâ to get in his mouth. When it needs a cleaning, we use a small shop vac and take away all the poops. We intend to rinse and reuse it a time or two to stretch the life of it, but havenât done it yet, so I donât know how it will work yet. All in all itâs great though!

Good but Shipping Needs Improvement
This is a good product, my breaded dragon is happy with it. In the past I have not had issues with shipping but this last order sadly proved to have issues. I had ordered the product weeks ago and they keep on pushing back the expected delivery date. And today when I checked on its status it stated “Aproval Needed”. Well at this point I decided to cancel the order and go for a different product.

Thicker than the Zilla Mat
Thick and durable. Bought about a month ago. The bright green color is rubbing off due to cleaning. Not a big deal to me. Very happy easy to clean and keep neat. Chameleon was eating loose substrate. Will be purchasing a back up sheet but the one purchased appears it will last a long time. Thicker than the Zilla. Holds moisture and dries without too much effort.

Perfect fit for our 40-gallon terrarium!
Our kids each have terrariums for their snakes, but they vary in size. We bought two of these because of the positive reviews and because they were the exact size of the larger of the two terrariums. We simply cut the second one to size since it was cheaper than buying a smaller mat. They seem identical to the more expensive mats were were buying, so we’ll probably be buying these again when the time comes.

Great pet pad
Easy to cut to size. My pet turtle loves the comfortable rubber soft pad feeling. The pad is safe for feeding and easy to clean.

Not great quality and keeps rolling up
I unfortunately canât use this and I had to cut it to try and fit the tank so I canât return. It keeps lifting up from the bottom of my tank so crickets are getting underneath.
