Great for rabbit snail

I’m a newbie to the aquarist hobby, so my experience and frames of reference are still limited. My passion for all things scientific makes the learning curve quite enjoyable as well as challenging. This is definitely in the biological chemistry realm, as well as water chemistry in general. I’ve had 2 uncommon snails that are particularly vulnerable to incompatible water, 1 wasn’t in the best of shape when it arrived, and didn’t survive for long. Looking into all of that, led me to these. And while the damage to his shell hasn’t rebounded or improved, it certainly has ceased to increase, or so it seems. I have 4 tanks going and needed these for all. I’ve definitely noticed some changes after a month or so; the dwarf shrimp are really popping out some unusual, speckled color morphs that may not have been so obvious before. My Brazos and orange Mexican and crayfish are showing better color, the Brazos had looked simply translucent beforehand and now has some blue color popping. It took some time to see if anything happened before I could effectively review these, and best I can tell – it’s helping.

Works well, but progress is slow.
It works! I soaked in old tank water for 8 hours before putting in my 10 gallon, and tested the water.. raised the PH a lot but not the hardness, which I was looking for. Since putting them in the tank I haven’t seen much difference, as the tank is bigger than the small cup I tested them in. Hopefully will raise PH and give my cherry shrimps some minerals to help their colors and molts. They sort of ignore them, similar to my other decor, just climbing on them. I do like that not much algae has grown on them since putting them in. I will update in the future if I see better results.

Does not soften even after 4 days in warm water.
Snails are not interested. I have 21 big blue, purple and gold mystery snails. And itâs been in the tank for about 4 days and itâs still like a rock. They show no interest at all. These are worthless

Amazing Results!
Had I known these would have such a positive impact on my tank, I’d have bought years ago. After about a month of having these in my tank, life has flourished! Snails have grown and to my surprise, plants are twice the size they were before. For years, the tank was just ‘getting by’, with plants stayingat about 5″ tall. After a couple months with these in the tank, they’ve grown to 12″ and not a brown leaf among them. I bought one package for a 55 gallon tank. Put half in at first, then the rest about a month later. They don’t seem to be disolving away, but assume they will eventually – and I’ll get more. Highly recommend!

Snail rocks
Iâm hoping these do what they say. I got a golden snail for my little aquarium and was told he needed calcium for his shell. Heâs a great pet in that he cleans the algae the one fish I have creates and is quite active. Enjoying him and hope these keep him happy and healthy and my tank clean. So far they seem great.
