Super Bird Creations bird toys designated for small pet birds are suitable for birds including budgies, lovebirds, parakeets, parrotlets, small conures and cockatiels. Even finches and canaries will enjoy toys with shiny bells, swings and preening features.

Playthings with a Purpose!
Instinctively, pet birds are still very much like their wild counterparts. Play is a natural behavior for parrots. Wild parrots have been observed engaging in several different kinds of play including object play, balancing games, play that involves movement, acoustic play and social play with other birds like “chase me” or pretend fighting.
However, in captivity, opportunities to participate in natural activities have been reduced to a bare minimum leaving a lot of “free time” often leading to boredom which in turn has been shown to result in the development of behavioral, mental, and physical health problems.

Good Toy For Small Birds
I bought this for a White Bellied Caique which is bigger than a Cockatiel. If he were an “active chewer” this toy would have been destroyed in less than a day.That’s not to say that it isn’t a nice looking, well made toy. It is a great toy for parakeets, finches, and maybe cockatiels, but if you have a larger bird I would go for a stronger toy.

Cockatiel Enjoyed This Little Toy
My cockatiel has gotten a good deal of enjoyment from this colorful toy. She chewed most of it up in about 3 weeks, which I consider a pretty good investment, and will definitely be purchasing more of these to have on hand. The two little wicker balls that she had not chewed up, I took off and she now plays with them as foot toys. Good little toy!

I have a bird with destructive chewing and he LOVED this toy – he dismantled it in a few days (if you have a destructive chewer, this is a compliment,) and got defensive when I tried to remove the bells and metal wire the wicker balls were on. This was his favorite and I will definitely buy it again. Very entertaining for smaller parrots (it’s too small for an African Grey) with destructive chewing issues.

Disappointed
The shape is fun. But the balls are very thin. I found my parakeets chewing and looking like they were eating the strand. The balls are much thinner and more brittle than other rattan bird toys I have used. My bird loves bells so he was intrigued at having three. The bells at the end wiggle easily of the wire for a human do I replaced the flimsy balls with larger, stronger rattan balls.

My little Budgies live toys they can get their beaks on, and this is one of them. It has been in the cage for 2 days and already 3 of the willow balls are nothing but rings. Great toy for inquisitive beaks!

He loves the toy . He has it almost destoryed in a week but that what this type of toy is for. He plays/ chews on it everyday. It is smaller than I thought it would be but Buddy LOVES it. Arrived fast, decent price and my bird loves it : )

My bird loves this toy!!
One of my Female Cockatiels is really picky when it comes to toys. They are usually too big and scare her. She loves this one. This is the third one I’ve had. Make sure to get more than one though because it tends to get chewed up completely within a week or so by her. My other birds who love the bigger toys are very destructive and theirs was gone in one day.
