Great toy
My medium sized parrot that I’ve had for over 25 years is beyond picky about her toys. I let her see some of the stuff in the basket but she still wasn’t sure. I always make sure everything is safe for Angel! One day I left the house and she went crazy on it. It was so hilarious! I watched her when I got home and she pulled so hard to get the straw out of the bottom she flipped over on her back! I had it tied up at the bottom of her cage so no problem!

Very nice busy toy for my African Grey
My African Grey destroys this toy in 2 days, then leisurely works on the basket part for another 2 or 3 days. Then she wants all the pieces from the bottom of the cage so I have to make sure they’re clean enough for her to investigate and chew. I’ve bought 3 of these in the past couple of weeks and she hasn’t loved a toy so much in 30 years (she’s 37). I will buy more but space them out a bit. This is a nice toy overall for most smaller birds, but my Grey (though a larger parrot) loves to dig through these colorful and interesting bits and pieces. I recommend this one for the busy feathered foragers in your family.

They get destroyed fast, but my birds LOVE them!
This toy is my bird’s absolute favorite, he has one in his cage 24/7. My boy is a rescue and has not had any new toys previously, so it usually takes him a long time to figure out how to play with them, but not this toy! As soon as I put it in and he hears the rustling (he is mostly blind) he makes his way over to cause mass destruction â¡. I was scared that it might be a bit too small for my baby (Congo African Grey), but was pleasantly suprised as he tends to make it last a few days before he completely tears it apart. Sometimes he falls asleep with his beak on it after playing for hours ð

Well made, colorful with lots of stuff!
This is a nice toy. Basket is bigger than I thought it would and filled with things to be taken out and played with or shredded. My Conure is afraid of it, won’t go near it. I pulled one of the items out and tried to give it to her and she hid behind her perch. I like it, think it was a good buy and put it in her cage anyway, looks pretty on the back wall!!! She did touch one of the items, it’s on the floor of her cage so I think she will get used to it and play at some point. I will put a treat or two in it and see if that draws her to it, if not it will hang prettily in her cage forever! It’s nice, colorful and I think it’s worth the money. It’s obviously one toy that will last her a long time!

Sad to say but this toy only lasted a little …
Sad to say but this toy only lasted a little over a week. My sun conure loved this toy. He would pull all of the stuff out and I would stuff it right back in… Until he pulled everything out and destroyed the basket it was in. Let’s just say it kept him busy and quite… And quite is not how I normally describe him. I see posts about their bird tearing up a toy and then giving the company a bad rating and I just don’t understand why they do. Allot of bird toys are made so the bird can destroy them… If he leaves it alone he doesn’t like it and if he tears it up he does .. They are meant to keep then occupied and this toy does just that.

Thought it would be bigger
I thought it would be bigger than it was. My African Grey parrot made quick work of it. Ripped out the guts of the basket in moments. I will be able to reuse the basket for other objects in the future as she did not touch it. I hid her favorite cookie inside. The items inside were typical for bird toys. Will be happy when someone comes up with new items for a parrot. Lufa spouge, finger traps, cardboard, shred filler. Little pricy for something this size.

My Bird’s Favorite Toy (UpDATED)
When I first put this small basket into my conure’s cage, he didn’t give it any attention. After I moved it to his shelf, so he could get to it easier, he started to play with some of the items inside. It took him a few days to acclimate to it being in his cage, but once he did, he would stand on top and pull and pull to try to get the toys out of it. They are tightly packed in there. First, he pulled out the crinkled paper, one strip at a time, shredded each piece, threw them to the bottom of the cage, and then went back for the finger trap toys. He destroyed one of them but the other four are still on his shelf, in various stages of destruction. He loves the grassy nesting material and will burrow under it. He tosses and chews on the popcicle sticks and the other wooden spoons. Now, about every three or four days, I’ll take his things that he’s thrown out of his basket and stuff them back in to the basket. This starts the foraging process all over again. This last time, though, he pulled everything out much faster, and he’s started chewing on the basket itself. I watched him chew off the little plastic pieces on the front of the basket–quite frankly, I’ll probably take them off the next time–they are small and I worry he’ll try to eat or swallow them. If he were a bigger bird, like the Amazons, this could be dangerous.Given the price of this item, the fact it’s lasted about a month now, and we’ll probably get a few more weeks out of it before he tears up the basket so much we’ll remove it from the cage, I’d say this is a great toy and a great investment for bird fun. I will definitely be buying more in the future. My bird absolutely loves foraging through this little packed basket.UPDATE: My conure finally, after several months, destroyed the first basket and all the inserts. So we bought another one. This time, there was no fear of it or anything when we put it in the cage–he went right to it and started picking through it. He absolutely loves this basket and it still is his absolute favorite toy! We will buy it again and again for him.

My Parrot Destroyed It in Three Hours
My bird loved this! I put it in her cage, thinking it would last for at least a few days. Nope. It took mere hours to be completely destroyed by her busy beak. Such a great idea, a great bird distractor, but very quickly destroyed. Next time I purchase it, I will place it on her playground instead, so hopefully it will last longer.Definitely would buy this again, but it’s not going to be an every week purchase.

Another great toy, especially for forage loving birds. My guy is a big forager, and he took to this toy right away. I wish it was bigger and had some more stuff included in it but ultimately it is a great toy.

I trust Super Bird creations brand as they do not manufacture bird toys and accessories that are unsafe for birds such as artificial coloring that is tocix not only to birds but animals as well. Their products as always are high in quality and my lovebirds absolutely love this foraging toy. They are halfway done shredding the contents of the toy and have lots of fun with it. Will definitely get another once this toy is destroyed by them!

I got this for my female budgie for times I need her in her cage (usually for time-out or when I need her to be outside and enjoy fresh air whilst in her cage). She doesnât like her cage and will tear things up while the cage is shut so this thing is great! She needs to be a bird sometimes and having this toy provides plenty of enrichment for her (essentially, she just takes her frustration on the toy rather than the newspaper on the bottom, fling food out of her dish bowls, or pretends to be stuck in a corner and chirps for me to come get her).

Brilliant product. Full of goodies but not huge and scarey
