They chickens love this stuff. They talk all it when you give it to them.
We have a number of chickens on our hobby farm and especially during the Winter, we have to supply them with some extra things they don’t get, like they do when they free range. We make our own feed mix for them and this stuff is like people taking vitamins except it is very good nutrients especially for chickens. When they get fed, especially when it is something that is really good, it is like a a group of cluckers all making sounds of happiness like they are telling each other “look at what I got” and they are like sharks in a feeding frenzy, all business with everyone trying to get more than the next one. It is so fun to watch and listen to them. This stuff is fairly loaded with chicken goodies health wise and only takes a 1/2 of a small scooper, (that is supplied with the bag). You mix it with your feed or grain or regular food you feed them. Don;t worry, they will “clean house”, as after 5 or 10 minutes it looks like nothing was even there at all. We add liquid supplement to their water as well and it shows in their eggs. These are not anemic looking with pale sunshine yellow yolks, they are vibrant yellow orange and the eggshells themselves are almost hard to crack. I just wish the bag was bigger so it would last longer, at least that is what the word on street is, according to all the chickens in the coop. Sounds like the “clucks”are pushing for 5 stars. They gobble this stuff up fast. They approve of it!

Super Flock Premium Pellet Chicken Supplement Boost Health & Egg Quality with Vitamins is in pellet form and looks a lot like a generic pelleted chicken feed, but with more green in the mix.I really like the vitamins, minerals, and probiotics in the ingredient list. I also appreciate that it’s made in Oregon, USA.The price is pretty high for 1 pound of supplement, but the small amount you give the chickens each day should make it last a long time.I would like to let my chickens free-range but the endless bird flu epidemic has convinced me to keep them safe in their covered run. This limits the natural variety of foods free-ranging exposes them to, but the Super Flock Premium Pellet Chicken Supplement can fill a nutrient deficit due to restricted free-ranging and insufficient nutrients in their regular food. That brings peace of mind.That said, my chickens aren’t excited about the pellets. They eat them when the supplement is mixed in with their feed, but not when served as a stand-alone treat. Their normal food is a mash, which they prefer over pellets. Pellets are easier for a chicken to eat than a mouthful of powdery mash and are less wasteful, which justifies the pelleted format. I just wished my chickens liked it better.

Keep getting these treats for my pet quails, completely dried, light weight and a big bag, good for a few months. Crisp and easy to break into small piece for various size and life stage. Good smell make this one a perfect bird snack, protein, and calcium source. A must have ingredient to make a balanced diet for my lovely quails, promoted health, improved Egg quality and taste, relationship and happiness.

Tiny delicious pellets of chicken food supplements. Vitamin, minerals and probiotics. .
I really do have chickens.. and I get a kick out of giving them a treat. For them, that would be dried meal worms, or some kind of corn, and now.. Superflock Chicken supplement. This was a 1 lb bag, and when I opened it, well, I was a little disappointed. The supplement is tiny grey pellets. Plus there was a scoop in the bag.. The instructions said to sprinkle about 1 scoop on 1 lb of their food.. Their morning food was crumble, with some sweet potato and carrot.. and the Superflock..Well, I brought it out, and they honestly loved it. I know it is a favorite when they stand there and peck out the little pieces.. leaving the rest of their food… The seller says that this supplies vitamins, minerals and probiotics.. I believe it,, my chickens think it is like candy..The images show Louise, an Orpington, and Chloe, a Bielefelder.. both of them stood there and picked out the pellets. If they could speak, they would definitely recommend this chicken supplement. It may seem a little pricey for a 1 lb bag, but a little goes a long way to make my chick chicks happy. Overall I was really thrilled.

My chickens, ducks, and geese go crazy for this supplement! It isnât a very big bag and inside are small pellets (about the size of the mini duck pelleted feed). All my poultry love the Super Flock pellets, and quickly pick it out of the rest of their feed. It smells good and appears to have a good boost of vitamins and minerals. My poultry have a varied diet especially since they free range so itâs hard to say how much this boosts egg production, but Iâm happy with this as a treat.

Excellent product for a fair price!
My chickens love these pellets! The weather has been cold and snowy, so my hens did not get to run around and eat grass as much as usual, so they weren’t looking or feeling their best. I started adding a scoop of this supplement with their breakfast and they seem to be more perky and energetic, and they are laying a bit more regularly. I’m impressed by how many servings you get for a reasonable price. I’ll be buying this again!

While I suppose chickens eat just about anything, my chickens did not shy away from this either. I do feel good about giving them this to hopefully help keep them heathy and laying. It is the same price that I pay for a 50lb bag of regular feed pellets, but I am hopeful that it has an added benefit.
