Our 8 year old Yorkie has been enjoying Badlands Ranch Superfood Chicken Flavor for the past 2 years and we couldn’t be happier with the results! I was just watching her eat and thought, what a great product. I should write a review! As our little girl ages, weâve noticed her teeth have become more sensitive, making it essential to find a food that she can enjoy without discomfort. This product has been a game changer for us.First and foremost, the texture of the food is perfect for her. Itâs soft enough for her to bite and chew comfortably, yet still has a satisfying consistency that encourages her to chew rather than gulp. She seems to really enjoy the taste, which is a huge plus! Every mealtime feels like a treat for her, and itâs been great to see her enthusiasm for her food again. We also give her Dr Martyâs but she will always go for the Badlands first.Moreover, I love that this superfood blend is packed with quality ingredients. Knowing that sheâs getting a nutritious meal that supports her health, especially at her age, gives me peace of mind as the guardian of my little bestie. The chicken flavor is clearly a hit, as she eagerly waits for her bowl and even dances a little when she sees me preparing her food! We do sometimes buy the beef flavor for a change of pace.We’ve also noticed some positive changes in her overall vitality since we started feeding her Badlands Ranch. She seems more energetic and playful, which we truly appreciate.My experience leads me to say that we feel Badlands Ranch Superfood Chicken Flavor is an outstanding choice for older dogs, particularly those with sensitive teeth (this is hard dog food). Finicky dogs will love it
I have a chiwawa/terrier mix adopted at 7 months. From the very first day Ebie hated kibbles. I tried so many different kinds of expensive kibble brands.So Ebie has been raised on Blue Wilderness Beef and Chicken wet can food all her life.She is almost 2 years old now.I saw Katherine Heiglâs commercial and wanted to try the freeze dry superfood complete.I was very spectacle that Ebie would not even like it cuz she prefers soft food and soft treats, spoiled hates to crunch. But loves only expensive â bull sticksâ treats.I ordered the wild fish & turkey formula for 2 reasons.1- Ebie already gets beef and chicken with Blue wet food. ( no fish )2- comparing the protein and crude fat ratio , it had the highest protein and lowest fat percentages ( min.) after chicken. Protein% Fat%Wild fish & turkey. 38 27Beef. 30. 25Chicken. 38. 22Lamb & venison. 30. 30Beef & bison. 34. 34To my surprise when I opened the package, an overwhelming fresh smell of fish was present. I have never smelled such strong clean fresh smell in any kibble before.( never tried freezes dry foods)Ebie came running to me and she acted like I bought her a new treat!She can smell it too.I put a little in my hand, still spectacle , Ebie hates anything crunchy, but she absolutely loved these freezes dry food.I was shocked!Chiwawaâs are super finicky and I am so glad she likes it to my surprise!If you have a finicky dog, I highly recommend this freezes dry food.Itâs said does not need to refrigerate but I live in Honolulu so Iâm going to refer it.Iâm going to start from toppers first and change to 100% meals in the future.Iâm going to mix half fish & turkey and half chicken so she can have a very balanced meal.Ebie has no issues, no itchy skin, her coat is shinny and super healthy. Thank to Blue Wilderness.However, Iâm changing!RECOMMEND !

Great Dog Food But Pricey
I think this is a wonderful product with a really solid ingredient profile. However, I gave it three four stars it is pricey and a bit out of our price range for our two large dogs. The dogs seem to like it, it has a good texture, not too hard to chew, and I think it is a very healthy food compared to dry kibble which has very little nutrient value in comparison with freeze dried or even air dried dog foods.

My small 20 lb dog absolutely LOVES this beef flavor!
I have never written a review and am an avid Prime fan. I ordered the Badlands Ranch Beef flavor and into my second bag for my 20 Lb Sheshon. He can smell it through our glass slider when they deliver and absolutely goes nuts trying to get to it through the Amazon package until I cave in (after he ate dinner already) and have to give him just a bit. He absolutely LOVES this food. It defaulted to the beef flavor and was wondering if anyone had preferences over one flavor of kibble or another of their choices? He loves it just as it comes , nothing easier to use.

Great ingredients, too expensive and dogs didn’t like.
I wanted to use Badlands Ranch Beef only as a topper due to the price. I have 3 dogs, the kibble was extremely hard, and NONE of my dogs would eat this food. Giving it 2 stars for the ingredients.*** Update*** They contacted me and credited my order. GREAT Customer Service. I think I possibly got a bad batch. Ordered a small bag from Chewy to test.

Dogs love this stuff! It even smells decent. I use as a treat or topper.It’s a little expensive but worth it. People are over feeding their pets usually. And this helps them get the best of nutrients they need with less food for easier weight loss as well.

Not consistent quality lately.
I have been ordering this for several months now and the recent purchases have arrived with the food in an almost powder form. Literally powder with very small pellets mixed in. My pups love the flavor but of late the quality is not same. I reached out to the company and let them know. I did place another order and let them know that if the product does not improve I will not be ordering again. Very disappointed as it is not worth the price.
